Other than what i've listed below of whats done to the car or what i'm going to do, thats how its staying..

Engine.
Still quite stock except for,
Bunged up pressure relief valve.

Engine Mods that are coming soon.
Intercooler from gktech should be on just after chrissy (will be painted black).
Tee piece for a lil more boost 9-10 psi.
Exhaust some time down the track.

Interior.
Boost Gauge.
Sheepskin seat covers front.
Custom velour seat cover rear.
Factory tape deck and speakers (which as a cassette to connect to my ipod).
Floor matts f/r.
Dash mat.
Mudflaps.
Old black steering wheel.
Ele windows.
Ele mirrors.
Ele antenna.
Curise control.
aircon.
Rear window shade (big black one).
Tinted windows that has gone that old looking dark blue.
A few sitckers only grandpa things.
Croquet rug for the back seat. lol.

Things that will be coming soon.
Bonnet protector.
Headlight covers.
Window weathershields.
Metal sunvisor for the front window.
Bull bar or nudge bar with spoties.
Maybe a big country antenna.

Looks very clean mate, lose the spoiler, louvre and mudflaps......ASAP! then Schlam it on some original berlina hubcaps, redwall the tyres and throw some venetians in it....mint.

If it were my car i would...

Lose the red strip running around the car on top of the bumpers. Lose the spoiler, lose the badges on the back, tint your tail lights and respray the rear center garnish. Also would lose the thing on the rear window.

OR...

Work the engine and have yourself an awesome sleeper

Nice car btw

nice car grandpa. just chuck a set of woolen seat covers, a crochet rug on the parcel shelf and you'll be picking up chicks in no time

other than that you have one clean example there.

Why would you tint the tail lights?
Look at them...

WYNDUP's plan sounds nice.

but i'll get pics up as soon as i can, its a little diffcult at the moment as i broken my right leg on christmas day (moving a fridge) so cant drive here for 6+ weeks as the cast goes from toes up past knee....
and the worst part is that i'll be reciveing my cooler this week and i wont be able to put it on..

dimples love the wheels on ur ride really suite the two tone

If you wanted to keep the sleeper thing happening you could go further with some stick on chrome strip bits that sit just above the wheel arches... I think you can still by the flexible stuff from supercheap, I always see that stuff on old granpa caravaners... you could also put a towbar on it with a half cut tennis ball..... midas well!
by the way nice car...... kinda makes me think about mine when I first bought it...

cheers bloke!

UPDATE.....

the motor is out.

we started on friday arvo just changing the inlet manifold, then we looked at the head and how dirty it was and thought well since the turbo was going to be changed for a bigger one in the coming weeks i might as well pull the head offand give it a cleanup.( the decision was made after a few drinks ofcourse).so off she came head turbo entire top end..
then the weekend went by and more disscusion and as it always happens since were already this far we might aswell do the rest of it. do it once do it right.. so sunday nite out she came..

now the block is at the machine shop get a lil massaging done..
before it comes home so that it can be fittted with ross forgies and acl race bearings. no rods..
the is only getting a lil massage and clean.. stage 1 cam, double valve springs.

also
new ex manifold
turbo
external gate
electric boost controller
full exhaust
adjsutable cam gear
xf t/b
fuel reg
and heaps of other lil bits and pieces.

so i'll have to get it up and running soon as i had to buy a moped while its off the road.. it is so slow should have brought a bike.. but its cheap on gas.

love it...

N/A plenum? whats the go there? is it original or were you planning on fitting a plenum that requires N/A runners and just using it for now?

also, the boot spoiler... they were optional i know but i have heard they were specificly for turbo models... can anyone shed some light?
