ok well i have the plenum on, and am dummying up the manifold, turbo and cooler pipes, so far so good, just need dump pipe and cooler pipes welded up, then it should be running sweet, allthough i need a new box, mine just exploded this morning..
Notes..
had to get some exhaust studs out, so i got a bunch of removable screw driver bits, then go the star shape and drilld a hole in the stud, smashed the star bit in and un wound them....
also the stock NA heat sheild still fits so my fuse rail will not be melting i hope. pics follow.
removing exhaust studs

As was after plenum install

tacked cooler pipes

stock NA heat shield

turbo manifold and oil lines on

turbo to cooler, requires a 2" - 2.5" silicone bend,

TB to AFM requires a 2.75 - 2.75" silicone bend

.

looking great man. what box are you putting behind it now the old one's let go?

and just one thing i've got to pick at... the garden hose breather lines.. they're severely kinked man.. can't be good.

LOL i know man. they arent blocked but, i just had them there for the coppas, too keep them happy till i get my brass fittings and oil hose.. and just a NA box again, but saving for a 33
MORE PICS AND UPDATES
all the oil and water lines now on

silicone bends came th TB is going to work sweet with no mods to the cooler piping at all. wheras the turbo was a fair way off so i had to put an extra 10 degree mandrel bend and then a bit of straight with an agle but its all lined up sweet just needs welding and powder cote..

and i bought some orange silicone for the cooler, i think it looks good, plus i got T bolt clamps, not shown i think they look pretty tuff.

Yeah, congrats mate on your efforts so far, lookin good, backyard inc rules!
Please get rid of the garden hose breather lines though, they are crimped almost closed and that thing will need to breathe with some boost up it.
Get some right angle brass fittings.

ok well as some may know i ahd a bung turbo, now ahve some sort of high flow, origins unknown, trying to pick up the T4 off deVl,
cars surrent state is
open diff center in, VN rear brakes on, waiting for disc axel seals,
plenum off being polished along with turbo,
turbo smart fuel reg installed.
new plugs and leads,
un opened 170k NA motor still
VLt injectors with CLNGMH old ecu, tuned for GT30 :S
box out still waiting to see what comes up.
just about it, aiming for 250rwkw on standard ecu, will retune to GTR injectors if need be, and cam perhaps. few random pics follow, nothing major has ben done except for turbo..
