pics of new addition to my garage

I can now say i'm the owner of probably the two most sort after HSV's of all time-A Walky and my new GTSR.A big thanks to ITS5.7 for driving us firstly to look at the GTSR and towing it home yesterday(and for putting up with the phone calls every night lol)I can honestly say my garage is complete.

Sorry for the stupid question, but why does everyone black out the rego plates...is for any legit reason? Have people had their cars done over from someone obtaining their address through a registration search or similar?

Not a bad example at all!

I think I'm finally over the fact that I'm going to loose a fair bit of money in depreciation...but hell...you only live once...I'm gona put a deposit on a E series GTS, red. HSV have come along way let me say.

should we expect the adventures of the detachable boot wing? maybe it can get on the turps with the detachable lip.

Lol-somehow i don't think i'll be removing the wing but the detachable lip will still have many more adventures.Took the "banana" for a bit of a drive today and it got the looks but failed to stop the traffic like the Walkys do.Mite have to give a few more years before the public acknowledge the credability of the GTSR-i remember couple of years ago the Walky was at that stage before they were accepted with open arms.

Thanks VL GRA but no-this one i found up here in the sunshine state.Don't think ITS5.7 would want to drive his nice black VX SS ute with 19" simmons all the way down to cochroach country. Is it true that the GTSR colour yellow is baised on a Melb taxi back then?

I read somewhere that basically HSV make up about 5-6 diff shades of yellow, sprayed them on a bit of cardboard or something, and had employees say which one they liked the best....

XU3 Yellah is the colour I think???

Yes SShan-its the one from way out west on Ebay,he was having a clean out sale(divorce)and the GTSR was his last car to go.The other two cars were a GTO Coupe with factory sunroof(he told me one off)and a very clean VK Group A which a mate of a mate bought for a song.I don't understand VL GRA about the bubble for the roof?please explain.

Yup, the VN group A got the ZF 6 speed, and the VR & VS GTS got them, being T56's.
