chev impala

Engine: 454 big block 2main bolt performance block

[b]Exhaust: dual 2 1/2 inch

[b]Suspension: factory

[b]Wheels: 16 inch rally wheels with origanal hubcaps and dress rims

[b]Modifications: 454 big block from factory 327 small block

[b]Stereo Audio / Visual: factory radio

[b]Estimated Power:
Hello people this is my project,It is a 1968 Chevrolet Impala four door pillerless. Running gear is a big block 454, 2 speed powerglide with factory colum shift into a 10bolt diff and it should soon have a disc break conversion out of a corvette. At the moment I am stripping it all down to bare metal so i can file finish it and spray it in ice white with a 20% blue pearl. Interior wise i want to go either burgandy leather of beige leather with some form of a sound system. If i have the funds I will be putting 100 spoke wires and hydrualics, if not I will leave the factory wheels on it and lower it. Some time soon the motor and gear box will be rebuilt and currently I am saving for alloy heads for it. So fare I have pulled apart the front end, rear end and the motor. I will post pics as the project goes along. Since I was little all i wanted was a 68 Impala like my dad and oldest brother so this is pretty much my dream come true. Be easy with your comments i am still 16 but enjoy the pics.

Steve.

i do, cant wait to see it come along dude, if you dont have the fundings to go hydraulics you could always just go Air bag Suspension set up for around 5 ground as a hydraulic set up installed would probably be closer to 10.

Also Those 100 spoke wire wheels get sold down here in melb. for 1200 for 15 inch with white wall tyres or 1700 for 17 inch with white wall tyres.

If you need any info, help or phone numbers for companys send me a PM.

Nice ride man cant wait to see it come along.
