went to calder last nite for first time....

had some troubles with gettin tyres fitted and traffic so goto calder late..

drove from sorrento 2hr drive.
put slicks on at calder, lined up got half way in line up and burnouts were on. then started raining.

At about 10:20 they opened strip again....

1st pass: 12.9 @ 123mph was nervious and took off line when lights went green, didnt get to stall up.

2nd pass: 11.1 @ 125mph was alot better but still not 100%

3rd pass: 10.88 @ 126.6mph 60ft 1.74....

felt awsome, with foot brake its lil slow off line but once u hit full boost the feelin is unbelevable...

boost guage wasnt workin so didnt know what boost i had off line but launched at 3000rpm...

was shiftin a lil early, have to check dyno runs to find when i make peak power and shift then

next time will have boost guage workin and shift properly.

i had those 3 runs within 20min...so next week i will have cooling down time...

I new you would be able to run a 10 sec pass on your first time out Now next meeting lets hope to see a 10.5 on pump fuel.

yea i was at calder last night and saw the car run the times. car looks alittle slow out of the hole but once it hits boost it looks very impressive. saw you guys putting the calais rims back on the car at the end of the night, did you drive the car home?

this is a weapon!! 10sec street car, driven to and from the track.. i think like john said, a 10.5 isnt far off the question now and be easy to get, great times for your first time out racing the car.. anyone got video/pictures?

feels good driving for at least an hour to the track , roll up and reel off a 10 , then drive home.

just a friendly question, what if u were to break something at calder? did u have a 2nd plan to get home? lol

im not being a smartass coz in a few weeks my mates going to heathecote wid his car and is planning on racing and then driving it back - i say he'll blow the gear box! lol

ummmm...to be honest didnt have a 2nd plan....and was thinkin about but thought dont because i might jinx my self......bit stupid i think....

next time i will trailor....i wanted to drive pull 10 drive home..
