Cheers boyz, like all things cars its taken much longer than expected. Was originally just a turbo upgrade....then it was plenum, hidden wiring, battery in boot, paint engine bay, cam change, vernier cam gear etc etc etc
Anyway not long now. Hoping it cracks a 10.99 or better around 120-125mph. Pump fuel and slicks of course. Maybe low 11s on proper street tyres ie 18s. We'll see anyway.

By the time im running again i'll probably be well and truly behind the 8 ball but at this point I wont be spending another dollar on it......hmmm maybe some new wheels.....and a top half spray.....Lol, jokes.

Thanks man, its a GT35/40 0.82 rear, 48mm Turbosmart Gate on welded then ported exhaust manifold.
Wish I took pics of the inside of the manifold because it was pretty impressive what they had done to it.

I don't think you will be that far behind actually, if at all., just hope the trans likes it .
With Mph that high ,you have to go crazy speeds to even get past another car.
For a 120-125mph trap car versus a 130mph car, you would have to be go over
100mph before you even have half a chance of getting past, You might open up
3-4 car lengths, but you would have to do 210(130mph) to do it
gone are the old 110mph trap styles, hey dazza razza matazza.
Now it's balls to the wall, ha,ha

Going with the trusty (LOL! Mahahaha...) MV Autos Jatco 4 speed thats in there for now...well I wont be changing it unless it explodes...
It should be ok, I rarely drive the car, having said that its gone pop twice already...lol.

Adams died a death at 11.4 and 120mph........
Come-on dazza we were only doing 250km
had to lean out the a/f ratios 2 points and wang another 2 degrees timing after that night into it

lookin excellent darren. mine might be closer to be going next week. got my manifolds back friday just have to put them on, and put surge tank in.
You might wanna route them last 3 leads around the front cos the heat will get to them.

Yeah those leads...I cant bring them round the front, they aren't long enough..ive got the heat shield on so it'll be radiant heat off that...see how it goes if they start to melt I know im in trouble.
What did the runners and comp cover look like after the porting? You keeping the same cam or using that Nizpro thing?

Alloy cooler piping by 'BTR Fabrication'-

4" Inlet pipe, again, fabrication by 'BTR' and cheers to DUZ360 for hookin up the silicone!.....


So close now I can smell the rubber......or is that the trans? Hmmm.....haha.

Cheers to Leroy for the quality fabrication work and a big thanks to Greg for his help with the electrical stuff...
