Hey all, nice to see a couple of replys since i posted this up....

Anyway, I've done a whole heap of mods since posting, and even been down the strip! I have heaps of photos and what not, so here goes....

*Fitted Twin thermo fans
*Rebuilt the holley
*Painted wheels silver
*Painted calipers and drums
*Replaced entire ignition setup (remote mounted coil too)
*Various painting in enigne bay (including chroming of bonnet catch)
*Purchased a set of triple SU carburettors

There is still more, but my brain isnt ticking over like she used to!!

So far, the best time i've run down the Townsville Dragway is 14.852@95.94mph, this was on my street tyres with bugger all traction through first and limited slippage in second. I only run unleaded in the old girl too, so thats not a bad effort!

Here's some photos for you! BTW, if you see me out, wave or stop and have a chat or somethin, im not shy and i only know a few of you guys from Townsville!!

For your info, the 5th and 6th pass were done on my skidders (165/13's).... Traction issues - I think so!!

Another quick update...

My car hit the Dyno on Tuesday 28th of March - saw maximum of 101.3rwkW on the TMS Dyno. Average run printout was 96.6rwkW! Although i would rather it in HP, it roughly translates to 135rwHP.

Here's the printout...

Cheers man! It takes a bit of work to get it looking tough though! I've spent many hours polishing and painting accessories and what not! I've recently painted a couple of little trims around the front and rear windows (silver), looks nice!

I think its not the belly of the beast that makes it such, its the man hours involved in making it what it is!

Lol, i've toyyed with that idea, but after seeing the pain that Dean has gone through with his LX, i'll stick with the easily swapped motors i think! I'm pretty keen to see how a 1UZ-FE fits in though... MMM...

I've got a bit more exciting stuff happening this month too - my new wheels are on order! A set of 16" by 7" Simmons B45's! I'll be running 225/45 tyres on the rear and 205/45's on the front!

I purchased a set of Hotwires off Dean recently too - they are now my drag rims cos they have some nice rubber on them!

Also on the cards is a 120lt Brown Davis drop tank! I'll keep you updated on how thats going!

Here are some recent piccy's for ya!

This one is the freshly polished Hotwires, ready for some drag action on the 17th of this month...

And this (for those who dont know) is what Simmons B45's look like! But these are pictured in 15" where mine will be 16's...

Cheers
Keith

Cool man - ill look out!

Another update too:

Hey guys! Being a Sunday - i thought i'd wash and polish the UC, here are the results...

Using Meguiars "Deep Cyrstal - WET LOOK" polish i could say with all honesty that my car has never looked better! I used tyre shine on the bumper inserts and around the window rubbers and tyres. The results speak for themselves...

And i had to take it for a drive and show her off... So me and the fellas (see next pic) loaded up and off we went! Took the camera in case we saw some nice rides! We saw a few, but old tony was a bit slow with the camera, so we dont have many photos! Here you go!

And when cruising, i stumbled upon this ford XR8 ute... Looks alright on the outside and sounds like a V8 - right? WRONG, this ute is packing something special because he wheelspun through first second and into third gear, all while putting me back in my place... It had some strange hissing noises from the engine bay region! Moral of the story is that SOME fords are dangerous!

Enjoy!
Keith

Ok guys, the wheels are on. Everything is happenin! And I rekon they look damn sexy too.

Wheels are 16" by 7", the tyres are 205/50/16 on the front, and 225/50/16 on the back. Tyres are Yokohama AR01.

Here's the pics i took today, enjoy!

But just to recap, lately i've got the stainless exhaust fitted, and now the wheels... WHAT COULD BE NEXT???

Cheers
Keith
