WE have a vl here in QLD that has my 700hp GT35 kit on it, and makes 440rwhp through an auto with 3500rpm stall, and it has stock 220k pistons and rods/bolts, stock head, stock valves, it just had a freshen up with new rings and bearings and new gaskets, nothing else. It has a cam and springs, but thats it!! And its been thrashed for 1000klm's, done about 40-50 dyno pulls, and raced at willwbank 3 times, run 10.90's, and is still looking perfect.

So to answer your question, if your base engine is in good health, and you have it tuned properly by someone reputable, then yes, it will be fine with this setup(bottom end wise).

As for th etranny, do you have an auto?? If so, you may need a valve boddy upgrade, to give better line pressure and help keep the box alive, I could arrange this with Paul at KEAS who I deal with often, you wouldn't have to pull the box out, just drop the pan and valve body off and swap it over.

Cheers..........................Kyle.

He may be onto something there kyle.

How hard would it be to source some decent cores and start making some nice end tanks to suit. ?

with the quality of kyles manifolds , along with genuine garrett turbo's etc , i highly doubt that kyle would want to use anything other that an ARE cooler , if he were to further his package deals to accomodate a cooler.

and i am certain he would do it that way rather than him try and make end tanks , knowing just what is involved in making an end tank that works.

Ok, you can run the kit on stock management, but with pump and reg, up to about 10psi, depending on supporting mods.

As for cooler, no I do not sell them, as there are 100 people on the net that sell them for $200, and I don't have time for making $10 profit on something when I have 18 manifolds to build. Same thing goes for kits and coolers/end tanks. The market is saturated with coolers atm, and people are buying on price, even if I built something, I would still lose sales over cheapies. Also, I believe ARE's work to be the best in Australia, if not the world in cooler technology, and I will continue to use their products for as long as they are there to do business with.

As far as kits go, because every person seems to have a different intake manifold, and lots of guys are buying them for RB25 and RB26 headed 30's in their VL's, piping kits would be rather difficult. I could work out a deal with Jamie(JD Custom) in regards to doing piping kits and coolers to suit his plenums and just leave the piping about 1 foot short of the turbo so the person can finish it off to suit the vehicle application, this would give you 95% of the piping already done and only 1 bend to finish off. Better still we could use a silicon elbow off the turbo, and you could just cut that to the desired length on either end, negating the need for any piping at all.

Street and strip warrior without gate would be $2750.

Cheers............................Kyle.

Oh, and heat wrap stops sh1t from melting, keeps the heat in the pipes.

hey kyle considered becoming a reseller for ARE, seems you'd sell more than they'd do.
seems alot of companies have taken on 6boost as there official manifold fabricator..good news travels fast.

and no kyle my cars still not ready, all this subzero **** has made me put everything else on hold for a while.

You got to it before I did, hurry up slow ass bitch:o)

ARE don't wholesale them to anyone, Richard has his way of doing things, and obviously has done alright, he's been going for 15-20+ years. I just try and point people in the right direction, I'd never tell anyone to use something I wouldn't use myself, and I always think of every design and engineering aspect to everything I use, I want what I've got to be the best, and work the best, and hence the reason I use and recommend ARE.

Mr Turbo is another one of those companies, I look forward to testing my new Ball bearing T66 in the coming weeks.

HEat wrapping will cuase the manifold to deteriorate a lot quicker, its kinda like accelerated corrosion if you will. It is fine for a few years, but gets a bit shabby after that.

And pm me for pricing mate.

Do you have heatwrap in stock? I've got an RB25 and the intercooler piping that goes over the head and then to the throttle body gets very hot.

Let me know how much if you do have it delivered to Vic 3030, what lenghts does it come in?

cheers,
Greg

I don't sell heat wrap mate, and there is no profit in it anyway, it costs me like $140+ freight for a 100ft roll, and retail is like $152 or something. A complete waste of my time really. Best bet to go see autobarn or local performance retail store.
