Jay
I thought that is why you build a turbo car so it can be street driven. I know that my vl is no different to drive than a standard one. I drive it 60k's to work and back most days.
Just put a set of forged pistons in it and that is all it needs, any brand it doesn't really matter. As long as the tune is right than it will be fine. Even the best parts will be destroyed with a bad tune. If you want to make 300 than you will need a fairly big camshaft and a good ported head would be an advantage. You will also need a good head gasket, a cometic will be the go. I hope you realise that 300kw is a lot of power, it will change lanes in top gear at 140 as it comes on boost.

Matt, you didn't need to retract the post.

I don't care if someone takes offence to what I write or have to say.

I agree with 15PSI.

And it was NOT a friendly phone call either...

Nice way to ruin a great weekend >

I might come out for a run that weekend you and your mates go out Tim. I'm keen to see how my car goes at the moment (Only want to have like 5 runs maximum) and race in style.

Hoping for a low 14.

Jason.

LOL I remeber the old white ping machine had a fair bit of a top end charge considering it didn't even have a cooler !

Anyways I have a calais going in tommorow for a check to see how much is rooted might pick it up I also might have sold my turbo conversion too so hopefully I won't have to do too many cash jobs to get my power glide parts ordered Hopefully I will be able to send it away by the end of the month

Yup. If I get that I'd be stoked, if I got some sort of high 13 I'd be stoked, but that's not what I'm aiming for at the moment.

Hopefully it isn't raining next week so I can practise my launches everyday and night I drive too and from work.

Jason.

It will definetely make a f*cken nice cruiser I reckon.

I won't be driving like a ****head (not that was I was on the night we crashed anyway) in this car.

Jason.

Didn't take you long to change your mind ha ha ha.

Haha launching from lights is hardly driving like a d*ckhead. I'll just launch up to the speed limit.

When I first got it, I didn't care what it ran, but now I'm real curious to find out. I was definetely right but, it makes a f*cken sick cruiser. A coulpe of runs at the track can't hurt but.

Jason.

I'm not saying thats wrong, hell I do it all the time, I'm just saying how quick you changed your mind. Oh and even "launching" up to the speed limit will get you in trouble with the pigs and in a decent car you hit the speed limit in a second or two any.

That's insane. Why's the crank farked?

Yeah, it doesn't take long to get to 60kph and I know I'd get in trouble for launching off the lights, but I need the practise.

Jason.

Jason you are turning into the next Foney... just take a chill pill and don't get so upset over stuff. for cryin out loud someone give this boy some tissues.

how about this rain, the bohle river came a meter up my driveway (those who've been to my house) and was follwing hard core, then today we follwed a rescue truck and trailer with an inflatable dingey up ross river rd to where a teenager who was swimming got stuck out in the river. rescue chopper winched him infront of the news crew, it was pretty cool. check out win news tonight or monday.

LOL Tim, I'm only f*cking around man! I am all for f*cking around on this forum, that's why I put the laughing there.

Yeah this rain is intense. On the way to work, I seen some funny bugger in a patrol swerve from the right lane, right over to the left lane just to splash this big group of people.

Jason.

Is that skim boarding any good? Is it hard? What do people compare it to? Surfing or skateboarding?
