oh my god, I've heard of that 'crack testing'....used only by elite drag racers isn't it....something to do with your arse, bending over and a pencil isn't it

got remotivated recently, bought 6 port NOS kit, b&m shifter, turbo setup including exhaust manifold. Got 2 speed powerglide from Phil Crookshank few weeks ago and TCE 6200rpm converter will be here in 1 week. Next week i'll be ordering a sh!t load from either rocket or vpw (whoever gives me the best price) so i can finish this car that has been off the road for 3 years. want to race this winter.

I thought my car would be back by now, but it's off to the panel shop again. Members can read, I couldn't be bothered explaining again...

the block was forged to suit my 20thou oversize cp forged pistons , therefore you dont need to re-bore the block (as each time you bore it out it loses its inherent strength)

i have repco's new line of nikel plated main and big end bearings (way better than anything else on the market)

as stated above carillo rods , billet crank etc

i will get my local mechanic to measure up all clearences etc and assemble it.

but after going to all that trouble i am now broke and cant afford to finish it off , so i will be looking at selling it.

this bottom end will hold at least 1500hp at wheels , not that you could ever make that much , but it will handle it.

if ur keen on buying i will sell it all for $3000 , im losing over $7000 but i will never get that money back anyway so yeah , let me know
