VL turbo conversion now for sale.

hey guys and girls, i have had this conversion parts in my garage for too long and i am not interested into turboing my vl now, after a very long thought i will be doing major head work on my vl and trying to get as much NA power out of her.
so far its been really good at getting 150kw from her now im going to get bigger valves and portting done also with port matching my extractors and air plenum.

ok im selling everything as is, i dont really want to just sell a part from it as it will render my kit useless.

the price im asking for is $2000.

this is what you get;

vl turbo head
vl turbo cam
vl turbo valves
vl turbo rockers
vl turbo rocker cover
vl turbo t03 turbo (non boosted minimal play)
vl turbo air plenum
vl turbo exhaust manifold
vl turbo dump pipe (dented but still usable)
vl turbo cross over pipe
vl turbo air flow meter
vl turbo piping from air box to turbo
vl turbo fuel injectors
vl turbo fuel rail



the things that i was hunting for but never found as a vl turbo is rare here in sydney is;

vl turbo ECU
vl turbo cooling lines ( i have 2 of 3 but one has a split in it, i was quoted too much for a second hand set but pirtek can make up a set for just as much brand new)

if you have any queeries ask, no flame. prefer a pick up as im not sure how to go by packing this stuff, i dont hace access to palate and wrapping tape and the such. if you can help in that department please do so but the frieght charges will be ontop of the price of gear.

What about just fitting an RB25DE head with like 30 per cent better airflow than the RB30E to begin with.

You would be looking at around 170 KW to begin with if using the standard R33 Skyline engine management and RB25DE pistons (higher compression),more using aftermarket management and bigger/multiple throttle bodies.

I'm glad I fitted this engine into my car as I was getting pissed off with the single cam engine being gutless,particularly up hills.

But sit on any gear at anything above 3000 odd RPM and it will pull up any hill effortlessly,its like the RB30E runs out of puff at those revs then you have to move up a gear to make use of the available power at the vehicles speed.

Like for example,a standard RB30 will run out of puff at 80 KPH in second gear,then you have to move it up to third gear, but the twin cam one can make it up to 120 KPH depending on the air density,etc (will do 120 KPH in second on a very cold day).

I would imagine it would cost a fortune to fit bigger valves and to port an RB30E head,then you go for a bigger cam such as a stage III which will probably ruin its refinement.

my RB30 doesn't loose any "puff" after 80, still goes good for a bit after that.
