N/A VL Calais air-con not working

Has anyone had a problem with the air-con not working? If so how did you fix it?

I've had my air-con re-gassed and it was working fine, then all of a sudden it would only work when IT wanted too, and now it wont work at all.

Usually you can hear when it's working, because the pump is extremely loud, but now, nothing.

Any ideas on how to fix it would be great!

Could be the switch, fuse, compressor, belt, lines, unit under the dash.

These cars are pretty much 30 years old.

You can't figure it out with a vague description over the internet.

Look up youtube on the basics of diagnosing the common problems with AC in cars.

If it still doesn't work take it to a shop.
