Daz is on the money, they're a lot more forgiving too. Ie - you can get away with a slightly larger plenum, or a lower stall, or no headwork, or a glide and it's still streetable. But if you go a large turbo, large plenum, large stall.. it's a hard combo to get right, and then it's likely to be pretty laggy too.

My corolla runs a $500 China GT42, been pushing over 20psi for about 18 months and about 28psi for past 12 months, still good so far lol....

Pity grant at proboost only does the gtx3582 and t04z, be great if he could build the Z he does but with a GT37 turbine and not a old P trim, be a great budget turbo.
Id buy one in a second if it was around his current turbo prices cheers darren |

even tho I have just upgraded to a garrett I'm +1 proboost good bang for buck maybe ask grant see what he makes these days he also does borgwarner ect copies these days

Caught up in garrets marketing hey? The larger gtw are just a old t04z style
Center sections by the looks. T04z p trim turbine..which dates back to the 70's Just a fancy t04z..950hp is absolute fairy tales for this turbo. as for latest tech..pure marketing there. Theyd use a new turbine And design a different style comp wheel if it was" latest tech" Proboost is a old p trim..with a gtx copy 67mm front wheel Those comp wheels are proven for 850hp ish.And are a new design with extended tips.. Be closer then you think id use neither. Cheers darren |

Something with a turbine not trapped in the 70's
GTx4088/ Pt6466-6870 /Borg warner sxe 69 be a few hybrids around the joint id try aswell Honestly Garrett can go **** themselves over selling **** covered with chocalate witht the large gtw 38 range ..what a mob of ****s.. Noticed how you dont see any reviews on them..been out a while..americans see the p trim rear and run..lots of lag there, big heavy outdated turbine, the p trim was the bread and butter turbine for them on a 6cyl ...20 yrs ago..lol cheers darren Last edited by Jet R31; 02-07-16 at 19:20. |

Hey all, finally got the 6boost manifold and GTW3884 6765mm bolted up. Hopfully get my tax refund back next week. So ill buy a Turbosmart Progate next week and hopfully have it in the exghust shop late next week getting 3 1/2 inch dumpy made and then back home to fab up intercooling pipe. So getting their. I have serviced the Trimatic Box. Its booked in for the end of August at JW Automotive for 1500cc injectors and tune
