The best part of the weekend was Bendigo and watching the WA boys Vs Trent in the skanky girl competition.

Ol Trent one in the stink 2 in the pink Flybye

Was a pretty sweet weekend.

Definately agree. Bendigo pubs with a whole heap of interstate boys was awesome. Definately made the first few runs of the next morning interesting... well hungover.

Hi all, based on our past experiences with holding events in melbourne, we'd be happy to put something together, if the numbers are high enough in concrete. and based on these numbers, whether the event will be held over 1 or 2 days. If anyone is seriously interested, let us know.

Yep I agree we need a poll. It seems there's a fair bit of interested. Hey Mick are you organizing it?

lol. Everyone will say they want it... 10% will actually turn up and 1% will bring a car. It's like holding a birthday party invite on facebook where everyone says theyre coming and then the majority never turn up.
Someone has to put their neck on the line with the money for this to happen and it might not pay off... Steve has already said it wont be on this year so why not start getting things organised for next year.

If Mick wishes to run the VL TURBO NATIONALS event he best get in contact with me with an offer to use the naming rights or purchase the company. Mick has no affiliation with the business or name.

VL TURBO NATIONALS PTY LTD is a registered company name and the rights are held by myself. He can run any event name he likes but it wont be this one until my decision is made.

With the interest sparked by a few of you i will be giving it some further consideration for 2013's event. However just 20 people wanting to come wont get the ball rolling just yet for me.

POLL's are very exciting yet prove absolutely nothing unfortunately. We did this for the last event. There were lots of people who could have, would have and should have been at the event or entered but unfortunately come race day they were no where to be seen. By all means i will watch with great interest if you wish to run one.

If you have a workshop, or business that would like to show interest in sponsoring a VLTNATS please PM me.

I think all the big workshops should be approached first and if they are in, this will filter through there customers and so forth, which should generate solid interest.
Im from NSW and i know plenty of us would be in......

It was a good event, you were let down by people not showing up, as sad as it is to say this, if you held one in Vic again, same thing will happen, a few will turn up, most wont. Victoria is the home of the sook, its too wet, its too cold, its too far away. The list goes on.

Thanks Jase. I do know this but probably more than likely for affordability unless some sponsors step up to the plate it will be held at a small track like Heathcote again. Those who came I'd say 99% had more than a great weekend of not just drag racing but as a community on CT it was a great opportunity to put username to face and also car and enjoy the enthusiasts company. Rail hail or shine we succeeded in the first vltnats no matter how big or small the event I'd hope it will happen again soon.

No one will like this suggestion but Portland would be awesome.

Those guys can run a slick event, would take the pressure of any individuals trying to organise it, just decide what the classes and stipulations for each will be and they could run with it.

Closer for the SA boys and not to far for Victorians, awesome venue with a great view for spectators, and arguably the best prepped stickiest surface in the country, great place

1/8th is the go, gotta get with the times
