It's not about jumping up and down and your opinion on the body kits looks isn't what we were discussing it was wether it was aerodynamic or not. You should have read the link I posted before making a fool of yourself.
im sure his entitled to his own opinion.. everyone has their different views.. to a holden enthusiast their amazing for the fact that u rarely see them on the roads and are really rare.. if they were a common car itd take place with an au falcon as an ugly box as majority of people think that.. personally i like them but they dont tickle everyones fancy

---------- Post added 22-05-12 at 22:30 ----------

This was my original question,
Explain aerodynamics and engine building, what you and everyone else thinks of the actual car has no relation to the question. Fact is Walkinshaw body kit is aerodynamic and the engine in the bay was a freak in it's day so the fact remains that HSV can build engines and they understand aerodynamics...

Walky bodykits look pretty whaleish. That being said, they are still a nice car (if only for the color and interior). There was alot of development put into the bodykit.

How could someone who owns a HJ Coupe compare a Walkinshaw to an AU falcon... Sad just sad....

end of the day a the walkinshaw is and always will be the legendary vl. its body kit actually worked. and the engine itself had different heads, 4 bolt mains and the race manifold.

I just meant someone with an old classic shouldn't call another classic a boat. As for an everyday car, just ask anyone, I drive the absolute crap out of mine all the time and at one stage I drove it as a daily for about 4 years and I never heard anyone call it a boat. I've heard birdbath, bat mobile and plastic pig but no boat.

i remember way back when p-platers in v8 commodores were getting done for power to weight even though the tare weight recorded by manufacturers and by vicroads made them legal. the police had a different list and went by that.

anyway point is if you are driving a vlt on p-plates you are still open to harrasment. i was pulled over wekly

According to the news vl turbo should be legal because they fit in to the power to weight. Vicroads havnt updated there database it should be updated soon with all the cars that are legal a vl turbo berlina wagon has always been legal. The only problem is the manufacture plate which states the power to mass like the new fg ecoboost falcons isn't on vls so its a bit of a pickle time will tell I gues end of the day its a vl ull get done for something

Maybe they assume all P plates are too incompetent to have another task of driving manual when there already struggling to control the 140ish kilowatts of the turbo?
