You need an extra fitting on the can.

I'm board at work so here is my interpretation..

Think of your PCV system as a balloon that is constantly taking in air and breathing it out through the exhaust

The oil vapor needs to go through the catalytic converter then to air rather than out of the can to be LEGAL.

all the catch can does is filter (catch - separate) the oil and fumes as they make their way from the crank case to the intake, before being burnt and expelled through the exhaust

You can prevent the system form pressurizing by
a) Venting it to air via a filter on the can = Illegal
b) Running it back into the inlet as described above
c) Running one breather hose to inlet and vent the other either at the can or on the rocker cover = Illegal.
d) By making sure you have big enough hosing to suit you set up

Do not plum all hoses to can and or sump without venting\ to air via the exhaust or intake or else you will blow your dip stick out.

If your still confused plenty of info / diagrams out their

Its very simple if you look at it like a pressurized / non-pressurised filter.

I do have one more fitting, so all I need to do is run rear rocker cover to it?
