Rwc new laws

Hey guys has anyone had a very recent rwc done? I've been told theres a new law in with rwc and it's making it harder to otain them an are more expensive? Can any shed some light on that? Only reason I ask is because I'm about to buy another car an it doesn't come with a roady

Cheers

not that much harder, i got one 2 weeks ago only difference is the tester has to put the car on the hoist, take all 4 wheels off and take some photos. i paid $150.
Hope that helps

Oh ok that's alright was stressing me out a little lol so what are they taking photos of? I suppose the structural side of thing. Do they keep them on file or who do they send them off to?

It's to try and reduce the amount of dodgy roadies written out whereby the tester must take photo's of the car and keep them on file to prove they actually checked the car and changed parts if any.

It's also to cover their butt, eg you jack up your springs to legal height, get a roady and then lower it again, the mechanic would have photos proving it was at legal height when he inspected it
