So there's 40min of cruising on one day and 45min of cruising on another. Is there the option of extending this? It's the main reason most people enter events like this.
Easternats has about 9-11 hours of cruising over the weekend.

^^^ Prob smaller amounts of cruising cause its on public roads where the other events in other states are on private tracks.... Could be wrong though

You are nearly on the money, remember also we are an event that has run this style of program for almost 20years and believe it to be popular with our entrants and im sure that you would agree that we do not want all Aussie events to be ran the same or it would become boring

Fair enough. The explosion in popularity of driving style events over the past 5 years would make it seem natural to progress in to that.

I'm sure it will be good at the mountain.

Hearing that some are saying thats there will be no cruising at Bathurst, geez how could anyone believe we would go to the holy grail and not allow for some cruising of the world famous Mount Panorama circut. Maybe these doughters should have a look at the Program located on the Bathurst page at www.autofest.com.au

Entry's are coming in steadily for the Valvoline Bathurst Autofest to be held at Mount Panorama Bathurst NSW on the 17th to 18th March 2012, so if you plan to be there it might be best to get your entry in early and not risk the chance of not being able to compete as there is a cut off set at 350 Entrants.

Entry forms and further information is on the Bathurst page at www.autofest.com.au

The venue for the Valvoline Bathurst Autofest is the famous Mount Panorama the Australian home of Motorsport and that offers ideal central location with its unique, ready-made paved areas suited to driving events and indoor/outdoor display areas.
This is your chance to be part of an event that includes side by side action in events such as Go To Whoa, Motorkana, Show N Shine, Dyno Challenge, Cruise the Track and the fiercely competitive Burnout Title.

All our events are alcohol free and thus promote a true family atmosphere where spectators are able to enjoy the enthusiasm and excitement of a motor vehicle event in a friendly environment. This has been evidenced by the fact of strong crowd attendances consisting largely of families of all ages.

A highlight of the Australia’s Performance Car scene, the Valvoline Autofest Series is one of the largest festivals within the country and one of the few remaining true street performance car festivals that involve local community groups at each location visited within Australia.

The Autofest concept originated nineteen years ago in Shepparton Victoria growing quickly in popularity year by year which now sees similar events in major Cities also within New South Wales and South Australia, the festivities promote community and business side-by-side and celebrate the people, and their passions. Throughout the year events are held that celebrate cultural diversity, sporting prowess, world-class driving, the great outdoors, kids of all ages and our heritage of motorsport.

Festival events cross a wide variety of skilled driving skills, trader information booths and motoring displays are just the tip of an iceberg of great fun and community celebrations.

The much-loved burnout competition is a highlight at all of the Autofest Events. Each event attracts approximately 100 registered entrants fiercely compete for the bragging rights to be crowned burnout king or queen. Surrounded by thousands of cheering spectators, these chosen few go into battle in a high octane of high revving engines, shredding tyres and some may even catch alight on their way glory or despair this is car carnage at its best.

The Autokana is yet another that entrant’s line up to muster with manoeuvres in forward and reverse and both left and right this is a true test on one’s ability to get things right or go down in a blaze of glory.

Gain some street cred’ on the Mainline Dyno Competition, who has got the most horsepower and buck stops right here where once and for all the machine tells all. Entrant’s put their mechanicals monsters of all sizes on this machine to test their machines against one another to prove who the power monster is.

The Streetcar Supreme offers the best streeters from the land also to compete against one and other in quality and workmanship but without the inclusion of undercarriage judging and awards include authentic, restored, import, classic, exotic, muscle, roddered or customised all are catered for.

The Showcar Masters houses some of the best cars ever seen and Entrants travel from near and far to show their wares and skilled craftsmanship only to be judged by some of Australia’s best to find the master of all masters in all areas of product, design and delivery.

The Go to Whoa, another winner with all that participate with Entrant showing all the Go they can muster and in just 140 metres throwing out all the Anchors try to tame their monster to pull up before they cross that dreaded finish line.
