FS 86 VL Wagon shell.
I have a 1986 VL commodore wagon for sale as i dont have room for 3 vl's anymore. It's just a rolling shell but there is a few other parts im also selling if anyones interested. The car has been in primer for a little over 2 years and will require some attention. the door and tailgate frames have been smoothed and resprayed in the factory red. this is a shell only. no panels, interior or driveline (maybe front struts and diff but i dont know yet). panels, motor, gearbox and driveline are available at an extra cost. contact me for a deal. $100 ono

Yeah i think i may try that, I'm going to have to strip the drivetrain out before i put in on there though because if not giving it away for f all with a brand new diff and single piece tailshaft in it.
---------- Post added 12-12-11 at 21:36 ---------- If i can get enough for it i'll throw in four doors and a tailgate |

the diff isnt for sale mate. i'm using the brand new pinion and crown gears from it to replace the smashed ones in my lsd vl turbo diff. mini spools are cheap if your current diff is in good condition but why would you want a spool in a road registered car? thats just dangerous. you shouldnt be trying to bust skids everywhere anyway unless you wanna risk smashing your car or killing someone. just get a lsd and keep it safe.

There's nothing wrong with turbocharging a na vl. if anything id imagine it would be nicer to drive than a original vl turbo cause it would have better off boost performance with the higher compression. i have a full turbo conversion up for sale in the for sale and qld section if you are interested and i could probably lend a hand with the conversion its self. The price is negotiable too and thetes stuff in there not needed for the conversion such as the intake manifold and wiring loom
---------- Post added 13-12-11 at 16:02 ---------- And with only 170,000 k's you shouldnt be too worried about it. just make sure the air fuel ratio is correct. is your car auto? |
