Well how strict are they when it comes to mods like big turbos, plenums and front mounts and so on, like do u get harassed alot, how easy is it to get rwc in qld as i know its near imposible for a modified car in vic, whats the rules when it comes to engineers are they real hard on that sort of stuff, by now alot of u know my vl and its neally ready to hit the road but im afraid that im going to struggle as i dont think i could get it passed here in vic, obviously some one knows someone who can get leaniant rwc is this the same in qld do u need a rwc every year???

RWC is only needed once to first register the car. As long as you keep renewing your rego - no more RWC's are needed. Just pay the renewal, no checks, no blue slips, pink slips, black slips or any other coloured crap.

RWC is pretty easy - as long as the car is in roadworthy state (ie, tyres, window washers, etc) and has the correct Blue mod plates for any obvious mods (engine conversion, etc) then you should be right.

Blue Mod plates can be easy depending on engineer. Once Blue Mod Plated, you won't get many issues from mr plod.

While I can't say being defected every 2 mins "wont" happen, but, from my experiences - you will *generally* be left alone in a mod vehicle, unless a) you are in the wrong place @ wrong time (eg, at the illegal skids), or b) is obviously illegally modified (eg, blower hanging out bonnet, ride so low sparks come off your muffler on every bump).

Haha you can get just about anywhere for that price. Just depends what you want to be near. If it's the city, then $450 a week won't get you much. For $450 a week in Redbank Plains it should be a 6 bedroom 3 bathroom 3 lock up garage 2 story with a personal maid etc haha.

Tarragindi is an alright area. Get a decent house for what you're looking for and not too far from Coopers Plains.

A few nice areas in Sunnybank - but depends on if you like asians... as 90% of Sunnybank seems to be asian.

90% is a bit of an understatement haha but I hold no prejudice, market square has some of the best Asian restaurants at the best prices going round!

hay man, I lived there when I first moved up, played footy at redland bay bombers, my parents still live in redland heights.

A few boys from this site are baysiders.

You got the VL up here and cruising around?

Victoria Point is not a bad suburb, the whole of the Redlands is pretty good close to the bay breezes
