Since the r/w i've been doing a fair bit of driving, and the other day i went out too a local park and took some new snaps.

And i also took my tow bar off which was a sh!t as job and took a lot longer then i thought it would.. If anyone is interested in one let me know..
Here's a pic..

I also got some new 'kicker' 6x9 speakers for christmas. They go hard haha.

cheers

i've been having some trubles with the old rb30.
Its starts fine and runs nice for about 20 minutes, but once it gets too about half on the temp gauge it runs real bad and almost missfires and strugles. but once it gets over 2000rpm its fine.

This pretty much makes the car un-driveable.

I have gotten new spark plugs, new spark leads, new dizzy, new dist cap and a air flow meter.

The problem is still there though.

Anyway here's the engine bay at the moment.

and here's the mass air flow meter.

.

Is it making any strange noises under the bonnet? Sounds a little like mine, which blew the exhaust manifold gasket, the oxy sensor wasnt getting the full flow and in turn the ecu tried to richen up the mix to compensate, so it generally ran like a ****ter until it got over a certain rpm

Not really, when i drove it about 2 days ago it was sort of clunking were the timing belt is (Atleast it sounded like it was coming from there) but thats the first time i've heard that.
Also There is a ticking noise but i think thats normal as its been there for as long as ive had it..

also it doesnt seem like its running rich as the spark plugs arnt clagging up ect..

cheers for the reply.

lowerd the rear, i got my hands on some 'ssl's' or 'ultra lows' sits a tad lower then expected..

lemme know what you think.

it should look a lot better and even out a bit once i get the fronts. 'sl' it should sit about 2cm higher then the rear.

cheers

Had a bit of a mix up with the front springs, but finally ordered the proper fronts.
Super lows should be in the front within a week!

I got tired of the look of my old ghetto parcel shelf so i decided to go out and but some thin sub carpet to lace it with and make it look new again, i got charcoal colour:

I also laced it around too the bottom to prevent any rattle from my sub:

here's the finished product:

I also got some speaker spacers to match!

also the front springs arrived in the mail today!

Looks nice. Need the front springs in badly lol. Id be taking that VS front badge off and putting a VL one back on. Also debadge the rear of it. Heat up the badge with a heat gun/hair dryer nice and evenly and cut it off with some fishing line

so it's been a big couple of weeks for the VL,
I got my P's on the 24th of may so its been cruising.

unfortunatly i had a bit of a accident and did this!

so that resulted in driving around for about a week like this;

but i got a full bumper set and got it painted;

also got a pod filter, braket and adapter, in my opinion it looks better and goes a tiny bit better too!

cheers!
