I'm there

I am trying to get a few VL turbo water injection customers to go

100% events like this are what its about, you can prove just how good your road car is compared to hyper priced exotics see the lists I compiled

Maybe post up a list of velocities and times for supercars (like you have on other forums) to get people excited.....

There should be much more of this in Australia btw! 0-1000m is a very very common testing standard in Europe

Here is data I have on my files of a Ferrari F40, Race Logic VBOX3 proven (cult supercar)

0-1000m Chilometro!
~21 seconds @ 263kmh
Pretty good for only ~478bhp and 1421kg as tested ! (they do have closer to 500bhp though factory.

Big thing with all of these tests is the VELOCITY you can achieve at the end of 1000m .............. need a nice car (read small, and aerodynamic + healthy power production).***MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE TIME*** SEE BELOW

You will see the big difference between the euro exotics (and some Japanese tuner examples) and the domestic donkeys is the Velocity at the end, this will be too much fun fun fun

Here is a list I found for you.....

If anyone wants to get into the mood and learn about 0-1000m testing and how times (not so important) but VELOCITY are understood have a look at all the data and video's I have originally posted on fullboost forums.

http://www.fullboost.com.au/forum/sh...ad.php?t=11301

Even though this is a Sprint event the real test will be in the speeds cars can achieve over 1000m

Come on boys and girls. Biggest groups are so far V8 Commodores, Evo's and RX7's

Spent a few days in TEmora over the weekend smashing out all the usual finer details with the council and the aviation museum there. The whole town is behind the event and all talking about it.

Also found a few things out that have been asked here and on other forums :

1) There is no 98 Octane Fuel in Temora. The nearest is in Wagga. We will have an area set aside for fuel if you if you wish to bring your own and we are speaking with a local BP commercial distributor to see if we can get a mini tanker of Ultimate there for the day.

2) Surface on the runway is excellent. it is fine but coarse, so traction will be excellent. Run off is good as well.

3) Not Nitrous as per CAMS regs

4) You will need to check with where you are staying as to parking for trailers if you are towing your cars. If there is enough interest, we will look at hiring security for the aviation museum so cars/trailers can be parked there for the night.

5) Accomodation is filling VERY fast

Sorry for the delay ladies and gents. Sup regs and entry forms should be ready by Monday week 30/5/11. The entry date has been bumped back until the 14/06/11. Just waiting on Sup regs & other relevant paperwork from CAMS. Again, sorry for the delay.

With this news however, I stress the point that if you haven't sent an email for an entry form and sup regs, now would be the time to do so. This event is 100% go!!!!!

I would have thought all the VLCT owners would have been wanting to get out and prove how fast your car really is
