Not 100% sure as it looked more brown in person, but is this faded mulberry?

Love the blood orange look of this colour. First and only one I've seen like it. Thanks to Luke (VLlover) for the pics...

Well, for a model that didn't run for so long, there were plenty of colours!

When you mention Bob Jane, was this a colour for him/special order??

Basically if you owned a company (Telstra, Ramset etc) you could order a fleet of cars for your company from the factory in your choice of colour (This depended on how many cars you wanted, basically buying company cars in bulk). So for example Bob Jane would have said to Holden 'I want, say 200 VL sedans in said colour to use as Bob Jane T-Mart company cars' and Holden would have produced them.

This saved buying a pile of cars and getting them sprayed/decal'd later which would in the end cost more.
I don't think many (if any) company's do this anymore, most seem to just have bog-stock 'fridge' white cars.

If anyone can find some pics on this site of my old VLT 'RB-3747' you can use that under the Venetian Red paint code.

Nah, I've got no idea to be honest. I'm not sure if there were a set or minimum amount they had to order (I assume so). Best way to find out would be what aus880 said, maybe ask Bob Jane's head office.

Nope, the red car has Super Light Opal Fire bumpers (pinkish tinge) whilst the gold one would be Chardonnay Gold.
