yeah hoping its going to crack, yeah gt42 are rated at 900hp bush, 1000hp ball bearing, 1100hp gtx, this is ment to be 1250hp we will see i guess but if its to small or doesnt match up to the garrett my engine builder said he will buy it and ill just go bigger....

I looked at the s510 and that thing is stupid if you put that thing on its side it looks like a mushroom the front housing is huge....... Rated at 1600hp or something,was thinking twins at one stage but a big single should do the trick, hows do you find your twins?

Twins are good, good engine VE, can package them a little easier etc on the downside, more pipework, slower spool v compressor size double of everything to make them work etc etc

It all works, just got to setup them up to suit. My turbos are not all that big, basically 3.4L spooling a GT35/37 sized compressor.. they should start making good boost under 3K and be on song by 3500rpm.. giving me 4000rpm to the limiter.

yeah twins are a better was to go for response, but much more expensive as you would know..... have you had the vx on the dyno yet?

Nup.. engines not even in the car at the moment

That single of yours will be on boost pretty hard by 3500rpm mate. Its going to kill it.. I'm going to say it will turn the tyres hard any gear till you get off it.

Good work mate. I have been building a vlc with built 6ltr cast iron callies rids ect with 1500 billet turbo for last 2 yrs but buying a house has slowed it down so u might get it done. There is alot of lil mods to do to get it to fit n work. Good luck champ

looking good bud, only thing id lean away from is cometic head gaskets... i had cometics on my car and it always used water changed them to OEM LS2 MLS gaskets and havent had an issue since

Cometics are notorious for being touchy.. heads and block have to be perfect and even then they don't work sometimes. The reckon Felpros are idiot proof.

yeah i know they can be abit of a pain but thats what my engine builder/mate wants to use as he uses them is his own ls2 turbo engine and has run 20+psi and work fine so i guess we will see how they go, thinking of buying direct port nitros for the fun of it also as the dollar is so good to us atm lol.....

na trying to find a mint series 2 with no rust atm which is nearly impossible, but as soon as i find on ill put up some pics of it and the build process step by step.....
