seems like a fairly closed event to me I'm just going to get my car up to spec, then tow it to a country 1/8th for a play.

The R35 gtr went 11.01 i think, the evos started of in the low 12's and ended up at 11.9 from memory.
That camaro with the 383 and blower went 12.068 i think.

My brother ran 12.07 in his gemini with the intake manifold with blown out gasket and it sounded kettle all day, least we finally have found the boost leak its had. 9th fastest car out of 58 entry's.

Timing system was weird though, all over the joint
Good fun though!
cheers

was just like a road surface from my observations. people had to actually drive their cars rather than point and shoot.

can't tell you really, because we raced at heathcote a few months back and it was as good as that, but my brothers car has trouble with the rear end unloading the tyre as the clutch is fully enagaged due to lack of rear suspension travel and weight transfer with the taller tyre atm ,which he is fixing soon now we have found the problem, so it woudn't probally matter about the surface atm. He had a ball regardless.

But you woudn't want to trap over 130mph...lol, there is NO runoff as many found out including my bro , they need to start it further back down the straight
cheers
darren

Whats the go with event coming up within the next month or so? Apparently they're going to have the christmas tree the lot but only 1/8 mile? Apparently you need a license to do it? I'd consider it but wtf is this license BS? lol
Anyone got any info?

just spoke with a mate about it then, there is a meet on next weekend. he was saying that they will be hopefully setting up meets on a monthly/fortnightly(?) and have ordered all quality timing gear from america?

I rekon i'll head along next week. should be good to have a look and see how its turning out. heading in the right direction anyway.

Not enough information given by the club running it. From what there saying on there facebook page its not till maybe sometime in MAY. I've been asking them directly with no answer. I want race as well. Track prepared or not.

Heres the link to the FB page. Join up and ask for yourself. http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref...59511450768624

It's $125 to do single passes. No one next to you. Un-timed. This includes Cams day licence. Might go in May when they have there timing system in place and are doing dual lane runs. Gates open at 9am for those interested.
