Need help importing a Part from USA

Hey Guys,

Apart from Ebay I have never imported anything from other countrys..

Ive pulled apart our $2000 Surround System as the DVD drive was screwd and I found the part number which is TVM502T which is suited to the Phillips Surround Sound System

Only issue is that all the Online stores are oversead I have tried EBAY and all but nothing here i have emailed those stores that have em and waiting for replys to see if the send to Australia...

Would anyone have any other advice on how i Can get this into australia as cheap as possible..

To save hassles on futher question...
1. The unit is about 5 years old and is out of warrenty...
2. I have been quoted $150 to fix yet the part alone cost $50-70 US and it was preety easy for me to pull apart so...
3. I have yet to call Phillips them self as im still working.. but chances are slim...

What companys would u recomend??

Even though you're paying 60-80 AUD to get it here, plus postage, another 15-20 dollars.

I'd probably bite the bullet and get the guy to do it for 150 for the sake of 60 bucks.

Just thought I'd throw it out there.

if your get on the usps website, you can enter the information and get a shipping estimate.

Be sure to have them ensure its packaged well, cause they are rough as guts...
