Go Cozza 9.2 at 152mph!

Just spoke to cozza, think he did 6 passes before a broken
hydraulic lifter ruined his fun.
Apparently track was slippery so boost was turned down to 28-30psi
not the 38psi it was tuned on.

Will be a hardcore weapon on fullboost, well done cozzy
cheers

I dont think you will see any unless someone took some at Heathcote. The car has never even been tested let alone driven hard before.

Only a few knew about it, that's why we called him #1 ninja.. lol

Was onto him from the start but finally saw it at his engagement party. Suss as when Jake brought in truck spec axles that are thicker than your arm, then someone walked into the shed locked up like high security prison and we got a quick look. First thought was 'that's not the ****ing nitron '

He ended up showing us anyway and told us if we tell anyone we would be losing a testicle.

hey thanks for the compliments guys.
I've been working on this car for 10months now, i'm the kind of person who likes to do it, instead of telling people i'm (gonna) do it and it never happens.. which is how the ninja kept getting thrown around on ct

basic specs of car are:
-genuine executive turbo car.
-6 point cage
-chute
-forged rb30et
-gt4202
-jpc plenum
-2sp powerglide

Last minute decision to head over to race had me pushing for time trying to mount the chute the night before i left, let alone work out how to pack the farker
anyhoo
Checked the weather report for bendigo. 12degrees max, 20% chance of rain. foggy. perfect

first run-
Nice and easy no trans brake just see how the new undrivin car drives backing off half track 15.5lol
2nd-
little bit more stick making sure my brakes still work 14.8
3rd-
14.4same really just bit harder, didnt want to use the chute for full power runs so just testing the run off
4th-
10.5 oh **** yeaa thats not bad, loose as i hit top gear just spun tyres and $hit my self, (note to self bigger burnout on these year old tyres)
Way to much power for the track put boost down to 28-30psi

By this time it was about 1pm and the dew had slowly started to dry off the track but was overcast day all day..

5th-
9.6@144 had to get off it bit early got shakey, got a mad vibration coming through the car. pulled up at end of track fine, engine was missing. spark plug lead fell off..

6th
9.5@144 had to get off the throttle again from this vibration shaking my teeth out..

Pulled back in pits and adjusted pinion angle down more, trying to fix the vibration..

7th
9.2@152 sik
60ft went from a 1.51 straight down to a 1.46 and could hold it flat whole track.
engine was missing at end of track, pulled rocker cover, found it **** a lifter didnt have a spare so it was on the trailer.

cheers

regardless your manual anti-lag launches will go down as some of the most memorable vl turbo moments, that and gutting your car under a tin roof to try break a 9s pass in a manual
