yeah man, it was breaking down at around 17 pound which is gay seeing as though i was running it at 19 for about a year. Hopefully just the leads though as they were reading all over the shop on the old multimeter. Failing that internal ignitor in my microtech maybe farked.. but shouldnt be. So fingers crossed for leads

leads on it are quite old so i was due for a new set anyway. Pretty confident its not the cas, but in saying that id rather test that than start testing the microtech if the leads dont help. Will find out monday or tues i guess..

Try leads and get a set of bpr6es ngk plugs. make sure there are .7 gap which they should be and if that dont work try a new cas or borrow a mate complete dissy for a test. The microtech would be the last on my list of things to go wrong.

I got a spare coil Chris if u wanna grab that before monday/tuesday to try, just incase.. while you're on the dyno.

Hope you get it sorted bro, u've had the least luck of anyone I know whos actually made the effort to take the car out for the wkend other than andy with his turbo, but I guess u'd say that was a 1 off failure...

GL

yeah those are the plugs I normally use. We tried 3 different sets.. even a platnum set and gapped them all with no luck. Currently running 6 individual coils so spark really shouldnt be a problem.. will definately give another cas ago if leads fail. cheers for the advice though

hahha, didn't realise you have a big coil setup man, LOL... 1 coil is gunna be as good as a punch in the head..

CAS is cheap and easy to change anyway, just change it and keep the old one as a spare in case..

Many years ago, there was a guy who should have gone alot quicker than he did, by the name of Goran (MYT16)... pretty sure all his dramas - he was using michrotech also -came down to CAS issue. correct me if im wrong... but yeh...sik car none the less..

hope you get it sorted bro....
