*update* powerglide is in. i have to sort some issues with the convertor. i changed shifters from a b&m quicksilver to a tci outlaw.

b&m shifter is for sale, comes complete with a drop box so it sits under the stock console and there is a button in the top of the knob for the trans-brake.

so from this

to this

today i fitted new short stroke shocks and an adjustable panhard rod. hopefully racing this weekend too

last week bought convo pro front runners with mickey thompson tyres and hoosier slicks. i have to order a pair of convos the rear now. next couple of week ill be cutting down another diff to make the rear wheels fit so 31 spline axles and full spool will be going in at the same time.

Na no tubbing man, BUT to fit that size on comfortably ul have to go to drums man to be able to get that much off the diff, as with disks the caliper hangs back alot further so can't be shortened much more than 40mm meaning the convo will still sit outside the guard!

Oh and make sure u wind in ur seat belt bolts

so i bit the bullet and decided to mini tub the car and went for a 15x10x3-3/8 b/s convo pro. measures about 6.5 inchs of dish next on the list is slicks.

i also have the bracket kit for the qa1 double adjustable coilovers im using so ill roughly tack them in place on the diff and then work out where the crossmember for the top of the shock mount is going to end up. that way i can buy the correct length shock to suit my ride height. after that, its time to chop the **** out of everything!

Slicks are here 15x10x26, but i have to wait for somewhere to open to have them fitted to the wheels. Shocks have been ordered but will not be here till after new years.

My engine is now coming out this week to be rebuilt with good rods and pistons in the new year. While thats out ill try to have my engine bay repainted because of a few bits im not really happy with.

i notched the rail (cut and squared off the dog leg) to get the wheels to sit further inside the guard. ill now be able to have it tucking nicely and still be able to use skid rims cause thats whats its all about!

my new turbo is built and is being shipped on monday. it is a mr billet Z-P with my old 1.06 gt35 exhaust housing so i wont have to change the dump or wastegate setup. has anybody on here used one before? mark is great to deal with and has fantastic communication skills, lets me know whats happening every step of the way.

also bought a spool engine rebuild kit and a spool sump. kit came with cp forged pistons, rings, forged rods, acl race series bearings and a cometic mls head gasket
