hey guys my boss come round at lunch to try take the door pins out of my well, well they not comming out cuz he said only way you can do it is to cut them out. **** that im leavn doors on to spray them, any way since the doors wouldnt come off ive started to take the front window out, cause i take windows out of cars for a job so its real good , and i didnt even cut the window out just pushed it out with my foot cause there is that much rust around the window that the eurothane didnt stick to the chassis it stuck to the rust. as it must of leaked because some idiot has tryed to use silicon sealer to stop it leaking lol. tonight the rear window is comming out aswell, "easy job cuz the just rubbered in" take 2 screw drivers and fold the rubber over the lip on the inside of window and once u done the top and sides they push right out . keep u updated with the progress

my rb25det fan has 9 blades...doesn't fit with the rb30 shroud though...

there are plenty of threads on removing the door pins. some people get lucky and they come out easily, others, like me have an absolute mare...

Have a read of this thread...

http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=135565

and this is what I wrote in another thread...

...removing the doors is quite probably the sh1ttest and most frustrating job you can do on a VL. If the cars not a keeper, grind the hinges off. If not (you could do a search - there are plenty of threads - but I'll tell ya to make it easy!) you really need to buy this tool: http://www.abbeypowertools.co.uk/web...54585_dprk.jpg
They are around $50. I got mine from Sulco. Without it the task is near impossible. After removing four doors my tool is rooted You may get lucky, but chances are the pins are well and truly seized in place and very stubborn. Probably took me an hour per door over a couple of days. The lowest pin is the hardest as there is very little room to work or swing a hammer. Be prepared for chipped paint.
*Pins can only be removed one way. Top ones goes down, bottom ones go up
*Remove top plugs on all hinges. Fill with oil. Leave to soak in for 24 hours.
*If you don't wanna damage your paint, try masking up the areas around the hinges with a few layers of thick tape.
*After 24 hours, remove lower plugs so that you can slide rod thru centre.
*Try removing lower pins first as they are hardest and most frustrating, thread the rod thru the centre of pin, using a hammer, smash the fu*k out of the handle, once you have moved the pin slightly it should be easy...
*For the top pins cut a piece of 4x2 that is the same height of the bottom of the rod when it is threaded through the top hinge. You can now rest the handle of the tool on this while you smash this. This helps stop the shockwaves going thru your hands.
*Some people have used gas torches to heat the hinge and make the job easier, apparently this works quite well. I haven't tried it, so can't comment. Not too kind on the paint tho.
