## Monthly Adelaide Day Cruise's ##

Hey guys just thought id throw the idea out there.
It may have already been done. I don't know?

Anyone keen to see if we can do a day cruise once a month?
At least this way we know we have an event to attend and catch up and babble bullshi-t amongst ourselves away from the computer screen. Plus get to have a good time driving our cars.

I know there's a few cars getting out on Friday nights etc but not everyone can make it weekly or want to cut laps of Anzacs all night.

Throw some ideas of where to go dates etc.

Maybe would could set a date that's the same every month so we know when its happening.

Example: Second Sunday of each month etc.

To me it looks like the eastern states have something similar concept set in stone and it works.

Cheers guys!

Steve

We have tried similar in the past man,

And it didnt work. We have bigger turn outs when we have a slightly larger space between cruises.

The way this site has always worked, is that we would rather larger cruises, than larger amounts of cruises.

The Friday Night Cruises are great, and we usually have a cruise at least once a season.

If you do it every month, the numbers severely lack sadly.

cuisin every month would be boring..

the medium to larger size cruises are fun.. its like a kid in a candy store..(more cars to check out and stuff like that..

No worries guys. Time to put my car on blocks then. Looks like i'll have to wait till the seasonal cruises. Half the problem is eveyones positive attitudes.

MODS delete thread. Ill just keep crusing behind my screen. lol

It was only an idea.

I'd say it would be great idea but the SA scene VL wise is so much smaller compared to the eastern states and most of the SA members keep there cars undercovers or they're being built for 500kw and take years on end to build. Shame the SA scene is so much smaller

All has to do with Population.

The eastern states have a much larger population, and if you actually read the eastern states cruise threads, they also have a lot of numbers pull out.

The difference is, they have a larger number to begin with .

Sorry for sounding so negative XCHASE, but perhaps we are just logical.

We have weekly cruises on Friday nights if you are desperate for a drive.

Once a month wouldn't be too often if there was good interest and numbers getting out.

But that wont happen

Adelaides too small, its to easy to get bored of seeing the same faces and not enough cars out unfortunately

If you make the cruises too frequent nobody is going to make an effort because they can always wait for the next one

Im more than happy to organize something with a few other clubs aswell,

No point in having a specific CT Cruise as we wouldnt pull enough numbers for a good donation, but I can speak to a few mates, and get a few other clubs involved if you want?

matty or steve you want to start another thread may well get more viws then this theread under "Bushfire Relief Cruise" or some thin

Just thinking away to my self here really but
Im thinking if we seriously want to go huge sorta cruise, Radio stations would be more then willing to get behind this i think aswell as big name magazines.
I dont no if im thinking to big but this has all hit me really hard like it has many other Australians.
If we could pull decent numbers it would really show thats us aussies's stick together.

ideas ???

Pm me when you got something Blink. Chinabone big ideas are good man but at the end of the day its not about us. We just have to do what we love doing and bring a pocket full of change or a cheque book.

Nissan Silvias would be big, as they always are.

I know a few people who organize the cruises from there, I will check it out tonight, and perhaps align several clubs.

Though I will have to hitch a lift haha.
