yeah, i sure am ...

built RB26/30, built powerglide w/transbrake, 10" slicks, a baby turbo and a red paintjob (red is faster remember??) and ALSO a superb 'driver-to-car-weight-ratio' = EPIC FAIL

ill be happy with a slow and steady 12seconds (with my run-in tune......lol burn) - i am not expecting too much out of this package/car.

meh whatever. we'll see. i dont care what she does, ill be happy if the car bloody starts.

10 inch, just use larger springs in the rear. traction wont be a problem unless u r trying to get of the line with a spastic amount of rpm. traction with street tyres is a problem, but once your on a tyre that has the right rubber on it u stick to the track! just make sure ya spin them out of the water

i cant say, its alot to do with the track also, if its been prepped or how much heat is in it. u could run 15psi in them one night an then have to run 11psi the next. go on the mt website, its a street tyre which is mostly a slick. they r what i ran my 11.5 on, der good but ya way better of goin a full slick.

theres 2 types of street slicks..
Theres the radial type, then the cross ply type as well matt.

The cross ply is like a full drag slick style, but still considered street trim..
If you are going to run an ET quicker than 12.5 the track wont allow you to run a radial front with this tyre, so you have to go the MT Fronts. But some ppl do anyways at thier own risk or until they get caught out.

Whereas the ET Street Radial you can run watever you like on the front.

Oh, and make sure they are fitted on some dardy sing Weld Draglites whilst ya at it

5 weeks and my car should be ready for the race season so let's see how we go. Whether i end up driving it or Jose does, i just hope it sets a respectable time.

End of the day i dont care if it runs a 13, at least it will look good doing it

Exhaust, tune and otr will make a decent difference.
You will upset some LS1 cam owners too with quicker ETs!

Ben, you say only one year your wallet has copped a beating...

Try 5 years mate!@

Once its done, if it ever gets done, so long as its a nice streetable car that will pull an 11.999 I'll be happy... VLs tend to break too easily coz of thier age... Hence Im taking a liking to the LS scene.
