As much as I love this car I don't think you can go too wrong with an S15, great cars. Now you've just gotta get it back up to 270+ RWKW haha $$$$

good thing is you can use the S15 as a daily driver and not have to worry about leaving it places for 20 minutes like you would with your VL

Yeah couldn't agree more, but that wasn't really what I was getting at, more just the fact that it will be reliable and more than likely alot more comfortable.

Im not sure at this time mate, its highly likely the brakes will be left on the car if it goes as a roller....I have someone from Vic very keen on it as a roller aswell.

You can source it yourself for not much....Calipers...Hub adaptors...Lines....Discs...Wheel bearings....done.

Both awesome cars, the VL is one of a kind and top of its game for its model
Silvias also fast but confortable, not so unique tho.

Theres only so much you can do to a vl before you run out of ways to be more satified with it, i plan on spending all my money on mine ending up with something almost perfect like Darren did then i think an s15 or something similar is a perfect next car.

I think being a vl owner you start to crave something practicle after a while, and the craving just gets worse with the more money you spend on your car

Youre spot on mate...this has been coming for along time...It was an S15 or a Skyline...Im a Nissan man through and through...I would probably never have bought the VL in the first place had it not had an RB30 in it...

For $20 odd grand name me another 2000 model car that does 14 second 1/4s stock and has every feature you could possibly ask for while still returning good fuel economy, excellent handling, brakes and heaps of potential for mods....um....................a VT Commodore....Lolz!

pffft you dont crave something practical, your conscience reminds you that you could be putting your hard earned money to better use... but who listens to their conscience? cunt of a thing it is!

For me it would have to be an s15 or a 33, there alot more respectable and practicle compared to an s13 or or 32 which is why your getting rid of the vl in thr first place
If the XR6T was a Holden or a Nissan it would win hands down for me lol.

15 to 25, 15 being your dead stock boring auto, and 25 a decent looking manual.
Depends on year and 5sp or 6sp etc aswell. I do like them tho

yeah, they go for around $15-17 for a BA auto, if you wanted a manual you would have to go a MKII with the 6 speed for a little more... still theyre a big heavy ass rig... but im considering it for my next car... being 6'5" it doesnt leave me much of a choice...
