Warrick's VL Calais 5 Litre

In the beginning... I finished school way back in 2004 and decided I wanted to have my own car. The parents rebuilt the engine and suspension in the family Holden Jackaroo. Engine was fitted with an ST2 kit (Weber carby, extractors, sports exhaust) but when I drove it I got cramps in my legs

I bought the car from Officer Auto Mart, car was one owner, 110,000 genuine kilometres, service books and still looks the same since I bought it. Now for the specs...

Looks shmick dude. Love the way you sell it.

Bay looks awesome - did you get it detailed? Or did you clean it up yourself?

Oh and in Calais the interior lights you've mentioned are factory.

Looks very tidy. Nice to see another 5L Calais on the site. Any plans to at least ditch the factory air cleaner, let it inhale a bit easier?

Im thinking about ditching the cleaner but i have all the gas valves for the emissions on it i havent looked at it much yet.

i thought id write up as much info as possible on the car. i want to try and keep it pretty original for a while. i dont get the car detailed i do it all myself

At the moment im looking at some gilmer belts for the car but sussing out whether the aircon can still be used.

I haven't dynoed the car yet so the kw specs are from factory.

I like all the vls but like you said waughy i don't see many 5L on the road
.
