the price on front runners will be about $260 per tyre
I havent priced the 8" ones before, they're not on my system yet..

Then you got wheels to think about... Weld draglites are the go

slicks etc aren't too much at all... in comparison to the other gear that people spend on a car.

so its insignificant considering how valuable a set of slicks + front runners are.

keep an eye out in the quokka and on the net aswell for "used" slicks etc, there are bargains to be had

thanx Arie, price isnt my main concern, its more bout getting it right if u know what i meen,im gonna swap the standard springs out of my daily to my turbo and the king springs superlows in my turbo to my daily to make my daily look sexual.
with standard height springs id be able to fit 8" slicks on the rear ey?
and is there a real advantage to installing 90/10's up front, apart from it squating the rear end on launch? or is it mainly just looks?

i wouldnt worry about spendin over a grand on weld rims when your goin after a number thats gonna get u banned, coz then u gonna worry about trying to sell them off an ****.

an 90/10's r to stop the car from squating, if u watch a vid of one it looks like the rears droping heaps but its not. the front lifts up an gives the car lift instead of bogging down. well thats what i think der used 4 lol, i could be way off.

edit: if u do get weld rims or what ever, dont get draglites haha. our cars will look too much alike, an u dont want that do u
.

bearing in mind matt, the weld wheels if you buy a 15x8 for the rear you can use them on the street with a standard tyre

I'll show you what I got when you come into the shop....
I reckon weld wheels all round would look sik!!! Save the 19s etc for cruises and shows

Nothing wrong with 3 calais' looking alike now michael

no need for 2 sets...
Just 6 wheels all up
2 with front runners, 2 standard front and 2 wider rears (which you change from slick to street tyre)

"city wok"? nice joke

look up on the forums, heaps of threads....surely

and also, the amount of flow the ebay-spec manifolds have isnt the most of your concerns , plenty have shat themselves and started cracking etc, then again quite a few quick VLs over east use "sh*tty" manifolds...but who knows how long they last, like they'd tell anyone when it breaks anyways.

but if you have the money there is no reason to change to a 6boost manifold...you know you're pretty much getting the "best of the best" (so to speak.....)

it does make perfect sense.

I will make it easier for you

1) have u got a spare 1000 or so and want a good manifold for your turbo?
2)...then go and spend it on a 6boost

:P

but whatever you have now will work...plenty of people have used cheap manifolds with some success, just depends on how bad YOUR manifold is.

i'd guess there'd be other things to worry about before that manifold mate. Do it in the right order to avoid pitfalls.

is the manifold a hindrance at the moment? Are there not other things that would be worth investing in first before a manifold? if not then go 4 it

nuh the manifold isnt a hinderance ..... ill just have to wait n c what its like once tuned , im just tryna "do it right 1st time" and i thaught the manifold would be holding it bak abit, but ill make that decision once tuned, will be going sumthing like 6boost but prolly have to wait till this court bull twang is over n i got some more spare coin!!

car gets tuned wednesday
