As far as i can tell nobody is doubting dude, most are just trying to help you out. I found most objective comments extremely helpful with my build, as there are several people that have "been there, done that". C-16 is lethal mate. I'm sure you will do your homework on it, nobody wants to see an exploded VL due to the fact that C-16 has eaten out your rubber fuel lines and ignited in the bay. "wot ever decides to break in the process" could well be your entire car.

Comments are helpful if you make the most of them, why else would you put up this thread?

Good luck with it mate, we need more VL's out and about.

Update: it turns out it was the Pump that ****ed up and split 1 of the high gears =/,NOW!! ...,heres the delema im facing .... $1100 for a new 9" converter (3 end i think) or just re condition and tweak right out my existing converter 4 roung 250-$300.. the current 1 got to 4.5k on the trans b4 ... im thinking the new 9" converter ,what do u guys think?

*sob* my car wont be making it to cruise 4 charity

yea ive just made the executive/expensive decision again lol, im gonna spend 1100 on the 9inch plus my new pump gears n my keas pan it should all cum to about 1500 wich isnt to much,id rather just get it dun right so i dun have to f*ck with it again.. i even baught a new wallet today cause my old 1 was worn out haha

was gonna run 10" 's ... but now sorta leaning towards 8" slicks to start with ... everything's been put on hold for a bit now , prob just get my car back ,
maybe new manifold and tune then cant touch it for a bit .. im spewing,ah well

you'll find that when you go to buy tires, theres not much difference between the prices of slicks...

So all depends if you want a street trim time or not...

Just go all out if you can.. Front runners and full slicks on rear

ok,yea i was gonna go front runners with full slicks on the rear,cause i herd its not a good idea to run stockies up frunt with slicks on the rear ... how much u rekon itd set me back to get say M/T 8" slicks and front runners sorted?
