It wouldn't go on a VL. They would stick out 35mm more than a factory Holden/HSV 8" rim

I can tell you now, if they are 8" wide with 10p offset they won't fit a VL

I had some 15" 29p rims with 225 tyres on my sedan for a while, the guard rub was insane. With a passenger or two I'd get guarb rub just from small drops/rises in the road. The tyres are/were brand new though, and were $250 I think.. so I was still happy even though they weren't the fitment I was told they were.

Yours are 38p offset though aren't they? I thought they were replicas like mine (but 16") and I don't think they'd make them in any other offset cause they're reps of commy wheels. I havn't had guard rub with my 17" reps with 235s all round since I stopped my rear suspension from slopping side to side

Do you sell radars? As long as you get a radar that is programmable you can turn off the bands that aren’t used in NZ. I bought a Bel from the states and set it up with only NZ bands and ran it in my car with my brothers NZ new Valentine on a trip and no difference what so ever

This “designed for NZ conditions” is just a way for Radar Direct to justify the massive prices he charges

You cannot do the internal changes yourself,They are done by the manufacturer for the NZ conditions, the police lasers are different to the Ozzies and the yanks. But if you are happy with yours then that is all that matters

Just to go off on a tangent...........S1KVL, any chance of a backdoor deal (not of the homosexual variety) on those window regulators that I see on trademe? or do i have to bid like everyone else

EDIT: Sorry don't know much about trademe, im guessing theres rules to stop this sort of thing? Only ever sold 2 things on there.

These are the kind of tw#ts that give car enthusiasts a bad name. No doubt everyone on this site has pulled a skid at some point, but there is a time and a place for everything. And as for posting stuff like this on you tube - how dumb can you get?! And to think I waited a minute for that to load...it could've at least been a decent burnout, yet another minute of my life I'll never get back!

I tripped on my way through a round about this morning, all of a sudden everything felt a bit slippery wouldn't call it a burnout, but it made me laugh cause wasn't expecting it at such low speed/throttle.
You're such an angry youtube poster

Yip and I still do skids every time I go out in my VL. Just not that smart to do at night on a busy road. Doesn't worry me though, it's not my license
