Heres a pic of BBQVLT at Calais Turbo Garage.
All the VL's were lookin mint, good luck today!

Got a few more pics of the Vl's too, hope the owner of BBQVLT doesn't mind me posting the car but it had the calais turbo banner in the pic

And did anyone see a nissan patrol during the cruising?
It was turboed and was dosing it, nearly couldnt believe my eyes

This toggy deserves a pat on the back for his contribution to the community and keeping the road toll down!

Out of all the pieces of junk leaving Sandown today. ie: cars which should be in a wrecking yard, clapped out rust buckets, people leaving with bald stockies on the rear, numerous hacked/abortions etc

He decides to defect an immaculate Walkinshaw ?????? Some toggys really need to have a good look at themselves

Bogz was camera biatch all weekend, I had a great time and cant wait to do it all again. Bogz and his mate in the pink Vl were crazy to watch, so many times I thought it was going to go around. Had a few good runs up the back straight with Fergo, again Bogz get that vid up aswell. GMFA18 is very easy on the eye, simple yet fast, have to be happy with that.

Unfortunatly today was a continue of the Sandown curse for me, started off with a cooler pipe breaking a clamp, then worse, the clutch fan broke the bolts, which started the last problem of snapping the water pump shaft, still a great weekend though, great fun cruising with the boys.

What a day!

Got a few laps in fergos VL... was great fun thanks mate.

My brother has heaps of pictures so once I get them ill whack them up... got a beauty of panna ripping a huge burnout on the main straight in front of the grand stand!
Bad luck jase... your car is cursed (you know it is!)

Highlight of the day: Watching scottys nissan patrol in the drags and snap a 1st to 2nd gear change and pull the front tyre off the ground! AWESOME LOL!

Only at Sandown, the rest of the tracks I do ok, Scottys patrol is nuts, I was in front of him cruising yesterday, out the back of the track just before the bridge thing he came around the corner with the weel about half a meter in the air for ages, at least 50 meters, probably more.

Good weekend guys loved it about time i had a car worthy of a few hot laps... being in the garage made it so much easier than being in the back car park.. did you guys see how full it got when they were lining up for track entry?

The quality of entrants cars is going down each year.
Way too many VH/VK&VN's. And what about the burnout comp just about every car was a Holden, Boring. I like seeing other makes enter.

Not many big name cars enter anymore, I don't blame them imagine being involved in a accident with some pea brain in a dunger VN.

I liked the **** heap Gemini panel van with the big block 427 stuffed into it, A car that you can kill tyres easy & reliable too.

And every year I laugh when I see some poor bugger that has paid $200 to enter his car but spends the whole time in the back car park trying to fix it, I saw numerous diff changes, water pump change & auto change.
You would think you can make the thing reliable, So you can be out there on the track having fun instead of fixing the bloody thing.

Did you enter your car?

Most cars there have had in excess of 20 or 30+ thousand dollars pumped into them... at the end of the day **** happens and theyre out there thrashing the hell out of thier cars... I bet they didnt know the diff was going to go or the water pump would fail.

Dude that would take weeks and weeks of saving dole cheques and cutting back on packs of winnie blues to be able to afford to make it reliable. Thats just way to much to ask for some.

My favorite moment of the hole weekend was a father full on kicking his 6-8 yr old son in the ass on friday for acting up and not managing to loose a drop of his VB in the process. His wife was lucky he wasn't wearing the wife beater as my guess is she would have been next on the list!!!

Its always had a scoop. Had a full hornet scoop at the start, then a reverse scoop... but its alot nicer... a proper cowl scoop moulded into the bonnet.
