I think there has been some rather large wires crossed here.

1: This is no pissing contest, of all the people's cars anyone in this thread would compare themselves to, none could give a toss what fuel anyone else runs.

2: Neither do any of them give a toss how much extra hp at what % tol makes, me included. We all think its great, we all run it

3: I'm sure there would be some friendly rivalry as to what times each car runs, but at the end of the day, again, no one gives a real toss what the other runs.

THE POINT

The point is, we DON"T give a toss what anyone runs, so why lie about what you DO RUN. Posting in your avatar that you run 9.98 on PUMP FUEL when you DON'T RUN PUMP FUEL, is the point. Pump fuel is exactly that, the fuel that comes out of the bowser, and nothing else.

Why does it matter?? Surely everyone else can run tol, its easy. Well yes, thats all good and well, except unlike sherif who puts his car on a trailer with slicks and front runners (no exhaust??) and takes it to the track every now and then, Ollie for example drives his car every single day. To work, home, thrashs it on weekends, possibly puts $100+ a week worth of fuel thru it, and comparing his efforts on actual PUMP FUEL, is rather different now isn't it. Especially seeing as how I'd consider his car to be probably one of if not THE fastest daily VL in australia.

To put the issue to rest, thankyou sherif for telling us how much tol you run. Your times are awesome regardless of what fuel you run, and in fact are probably the fastest times run by a RB on pump and tol anyway, anything else has probably been C16, so kudos to you. I respect your achievement, just don't tell people you run pump, tell them you run pump and tol.

Big congrats to Ollie, known here as Exchaser, who last night had much better luck than I did at the track running a 10.59@125mph.

For those that don't know the car, that pass was done on pump fuel, full 3" exhaust, full weight and all interior mickey T street radials and run off the foot brake!!!

i think we need to put this to bed,it seems everyone now and then misses some vital bits when typing either c16 or toluene

Just spoke with 6Boost and cleared this whole thing up
if we go back to the thread of when I run a 9 it show's in the first few post (from Ollie) asking pump or pump/tol and the very next post was from me saying Pump/tol, The problem is when a one group call pump tol still pump and another group dont, where I come from is that the Fuel is still a pump base not a race made fuel

Differing opinions on definition i guess... oh well...
Being in the circle that we are all in, i guess everyone knows enough about eachothers setups to know when something doesnt add up... it's just better for people reading/learning and outsiders to be able to know that they're reading factual information etc when making their own plans and or setting goals, as the forums always seem to be a great place for reading regurgitated misinformation..
