VL Cruise Late april

hello all me and a mate are thinking about organizing a cruise in late April for VL's (would be a joint thing with many forums)
date (depending on weather) and place to cruise to are yet to be confirmed
meeting place would probably be homebush due to easy to get to and plenty of parking
would like to get some opinions in what yous all think a good place to go to, also be good to have one atleast an hour or longer?
any interest ?

i reckon a northern beaches cruise...

if we start at homebush... cruise along the m4... then down parramatta road... down city west link... across the anzac then harbour bridge... up military rd.. then follow pittwater road all the way up to palm beach... according to whereis, this would take 1.5 hours to do... then regathering and sitting on 90km/h speed limit for red p plates may extend it

if that way is too long we could go around the back way through ryde which will lead us on to mona vale road which then will take us up to palmy... i think this is the route they did last time they had the big ct cruise to palmy... according to whereis that would take 50 minutes which in reality would be just over an hour or so

sorry patch mate, but we seriously need to get some new ideas, all we ever do is meet at homebush n drive to palm beach.

doesnt anyone ever explore new places to cruise to? secret hideouts or mad accidental finds?? like once i came across this parkin lot by accident near mona vale, near some hospital. plenty of FREE carparking spaces, overlooks the beach, has a park, welcomes dogs.

lol thats mona vale hospital, 2 min walk from my place ... not that much parking there on weekends though unfortunately, with heaps of ppl taking there dogs there, going to the beach, etc, but depends on the number of cars coming on the cruise!

shouldnt we just ignore this cruise and just wait fo rthe march one? which so far seems to be very popular with about 17 peeps attending already
