Finally had a win guys,

Internals of the cat were melted beyond belief, was like a baseball in there, hard as rock lol.

I'm now running a, um, more efficient design... and i'm gonna race it tonight on 15 pound + street tyres.

Thanks fellas, yeh I was stoked with the time & mph will have to hook the t/brake up next week with more boost to see if i can improve on those 60' times way more fun than I even thought it would be lol.

cat was melted Ol, ended up only being able to make 7 psi lol! That'd prob be equivalent to running a 1" exhaust haha

Yeh Steve I'm getting it tuned again tomorrow so I'll prob try again next wednesday just with street tyres, transbrake and more boost go for the 11 and then start saving for slicks haha

Ran out of things that it could possibly be, the only other one that I didn't check was cam overlap, thought that it could have slipped after we dialed it in causing boost to blow straight out the exhaust valves... Luckily though, it was just the cat :P


*Update*

Well seem this see-saw of fail is ongoing. Have developed a big end death rattle so couldn't do a dyno run today. Bearings are going to be inspected on Tuesday, fingers crossed it's not too rooted. Anybody interested in a red calais?? lol

Nah Ol, no boosting mate, will be putting along in my n/a. Not sure what's going on with the pop-ups sometimes they seem to work sometimes, then other times not lol think the motor is just on it's way out (seems to be the go with me and motors lol)

Josh I'm reluctant to blame the builder until we can determine what has actually gone wrong, when the sump comes off on the hoist on Tuesday we will get a better idea. Blocked cat could well have had alot to do with it. Or it could just be a bad bearing. I'm anxious to know what it is as this is getting extremely frustrating. I really hope this doesn't make me miss powercruise, I'm so close to being over this car lol.
