My 1994 Vr Commordore and Statesmans

Hello
My name is Chris, I'm new to the site so first things first.

The Car
I picked it up from the dealers late Tuesday (2-10-07).
I don't now much about the car but heres what I know

Model: 1994 VR Executive.
Colour: Grey.
Bodykit: S Pack.
Engine Type: 3800 V6.
Engine Mods: intercooler pipe cold air intake with pod. (see pics)
Power: enough for now
Exhaust: extractors and single 2" sports with no rear muffler and twin tips
Gearbox: 5 speed manual with short shift and VERY heavy clutch.
Brakes: standard
Suspension: will have superlow rears and super/ultra low fronts.
Wheels/Tyres: steelies with caps.
Interior: HSV clubsport front and rear seats.
Other Mods: HD tow bar
Stereo: Rubbish after market cassete deck (for now), Fronts- not sure, Rears- 6"x9" Pioneer 3-ways, old sony amp for sub but no sub
Cost: $4000
Future Mods:CD deck, sub and front speakers, new amp for sub, alloys probably late model holden, rear spoiler and fresh paint

oops, error in the sespension specs.

The supension is stock height but resonably hard.

As you can see it also has VT clear side indicators

The VR/VS look good with the S pack lower spoilers, very neat. I would lose the hubcaps and paint the rims silver or try to find some VR Acclaim hubcaps.

Thanks Boyracer I will get some alloys when these wear out or sooner if I start doing more country driving.

Had a bit of a problem with the clutch bracket last week. While It was apart I have installed my sound system.

I will post picks when they are all on my computer

I was speaking to the previous owner on the weekend and found out a couple of things

Rear Suspension: Low King springs and Mounro GT gas struts.
Front Suspension: Low Pedders springs and Mounro gas struts.
Brakes: VR Clubsport front and rear.

A clubsport died to donate the brakes and seats. Actualy it belonged to a mate of the previous owner.

New Rims!!!

Finally, they're 17" Calais rims with Corsa tyres. Pity the car is so dirty.

Not sure what the corsa's are like yet but they have a non directional asymetric tread pattern.

Yes the plastic belmouth is still in the, thought about removing it when I changed the throttle cable but desided it was to hard (time).

really nice,

5th is really only good at over 90 kph but pulls hard through 2nd and 3rd.

I drove it for the classic adelaide (as an official) and it was so much fun even on the old retreads, the stages I drove: Crows Nest (SS13) and Paris Creek Long (SS30).

Got the windows tinted the other week.

one of the clips broke when the took the parcel shelf out and the pods don't have anything to screw into (previos owner had 6x9's flat mounted) so that will need to be replaced.

on the plus side: (fog light bezels)
