1986 vl calais rb30 n/a

1986 series one vl calais

i bought this for $400 on the weekend.

and i bought the body kit off it about a month ago for $400 as well

its auto n/a rb30 used to have a t3 garret, and was apparently in the 300 kilowatts zone.

the fuucker wont start though, im assuming its the fuel pump, ill have it looked at soon.

i bought it because when my car got stolen i thought id never get it back and this was quite a bargain.

the body is straight as, has had a rather new re-spray but has been sitting unattended for a few months under a tree so she should scrub up alright, the only thing missing is the Calais front, but i have one on hold anyway.

she sits pretty low with super-low kings all round, complimented by a mean set of chasers for the time being

im looking to get the engine re-built when i get my old vl back, get it bored out and all the rest, and drop my manual gearbox into it when i have a bit of cash saved up..

at least with 2 vl's i can attempt to get one of em sneazin by the time im off my p's.

here's what it looks like at the moment

[everything that is missing i have ready to put on]
[except for the Calais front, that's coming soon]

[and this is what it will look like soon]
[probably different mags and either matt black or Venus orange re-spray]

[that is the car from about a year ago, i have the front bar, sides and rear bar in the workshop getting repaired]

so yeah, i have a little work on my hands.

100 000 kill switches will be installed soon enough.
and to make sure this one doesn't get taken from me, ill be sleeping with the machete under my pillow

let me know what you think, any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.
