been tryna sell the fuel system for aggges!
then in the last 3 days had heaps of ppl interested only after i put it all on ebay :/. the carb is sold and the rest is being bid for on ebay.
the turbo and manifolds are up for sale just yet, will be a while til ill be getting custom manifolds done up.
only have the fuel pumps left and theyre on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....0099&rd=1&rd=1
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....1241&rd=1&rd=1

woops, forgot to say, its just being convertered to strait gas and having the bay tidied up a bit more, will be hiding any wiring thats been added after the gas instalation and will be smoothing out the bay, but will be spraying it myself, so nothing tooo pro lol

cheers dude
i ***n miss it lol, been at mechanics for ages
not many ppl do a blow thru carb setup on the 202s, thers not too many that are turboed to begin with lol
most of them are the draw thru like mine just because of the kits that have been around since the 80s.
the others chasing more power have just gone efi.
but u could use a 4 barrel manifold and custom exhaust manifold with a carby setup for blow thru forced induction, not a huge drama and would still get good results.

yeah well i got a vc 202 manual wagonist as my daily and wanna do her up slowly as weve had it since before i was born! anyway i want to keep the 202 carby feed but i love the pull my VL BT1 has got so i think i need to turbo her, i wanted to go blow through simply cause you can intercool and also no one really does it.
well its a while away so ill see how we go......

P.S. misk you still got the SL/E rims? got some pics i might be interested.

well i finaly got the car back tonight
it drives good but im not very happy with the workshop at all...

after taking far too long to do any of the work that was done they didnt even put the battery in the boot and theyve fucked my electrics, my indicators dont work and wen i put my foot on the brake my brake lights turn off
not to mention the fact that they charged me a ridiculous amount considering i gave them the parts...

all in all im happy to have the car back but fukn ****ty as that its impossible to find a good workshop to put faith in...

take it back mate, i would, workshops have a duty of care.
this is why i do all my own work, the only exception is the dyno tune and even then i dont like handing my car over.

got any pics of the new setup?

mmm i duno if i trust them enough to take it back or if i cbf having it sit there for another month just for 2 things to be done...
i also try and do everything myself and always have, but obviously cant do a gas conversion lol

theyve also hooked up the brake booster vacume hose and the hose connecting to the rocker cover to my inlet manifold...which of course is under boost as its after the turbo
which would explain why my brakes are ****ed lol

only got this pic so far lol
**** pic and the bay is dirtier than my mum, will be giving the car a nice once over this weekend
i must say tho, the car rips a madd skid lol layed some nice dougheys to snakeys in dande factories

heres some pics i took this morning
and yes i know it needs to be lowered and needs some rims! lol
needs a few things

tell ya what, thats a strange looking setup when compared to the standard N/A setup on my 202
why did ya go to staight gas anyway? probabily cause the cost of gas is so much less than petrol right.

yeh man the standard 202 setup is poo!
anything is better than stock
i went gas because petrol ****s me, can be quite unreliable, and i cbf getting it tuned with the carb or converting to EFI. gas is cheaper, less hassles and has a higher octane content, which is wat i loved most.
basically the pros far outweighed the cons so yeh.
not to mention ill be getting $2k from the government for something that was an upgrade lol
