Special Thanks: Lockie, All the people that I borrowed parts from while defected, Ebay

When I bought this car, it was mostly standard with just a sports exhaust and lowered springs. The car is originally NA, the previous owner dropped in an a8 block and turbo auto. I havent yet checked if the diff is 28spline but im guessing its just an na diff. It ran like a pos, needed a full service, new dizzy and i replaced the leaking injectors. The paint in areas was flaking off due to poor prep work. Had a massive dent in the roof, rusting badly in the boot and front window aswell as the rear wheel arch. Since then all the rust has been deleted, parts of the car resprayed, it's been converted to manual with a few performance upgrades. After cleaning the car up a fair bit its time to start making some reliable power, especially now that AIR (hopefully) will be opening soon.

Pics shortly after I bought it

Thank you all for the kind words. The inters dont need to be polished they were just dirty this is how they look after a wash, fairly shiney.

Just finished the backyard habibi install of the gktech kit i bought. Heres a pic of putting it back together, drag spec lol. Still need to trim my bar to get it back on, ill do that tomorrow.

It was fun driving around my area with out headlights and no bar, the looks on peoples faces

are you talking about how its slightly off centre? thats the best i could do by myself with the mounting, ended up being about 1cm to one side. you wont see the cooler with the bar on anyways so its all good.

Off the road...

Yep how is that! Both off the road at the same time, bloody cops!

Anyways because SXC 747 bumped the thread up ill update it.

I bought Sprigzy's hiflow turbo off [GLDJET] the other week and i had a boot full of gear for the install when i was defected. Oh well its going to have to wait now, i was pretty disappointed in the timing.

Also have a 5speed conversion waiting to go in, getting bored with the auto.

And this is how the car will be for a little while longer until I fix it up to pass regency.

Heres a pic of some of the SA boys on a friday cruise, left to right is TURBZ, myself, SXC747, Boywonder, Jetvl086 and Termite got chopped in the back, couldnt fit in the pic. There was better pics from this meet but havent turned up yet on the site.

I'll continue to update the progress of the regency inspections and build progress!

We ride with you now Josh, and drink up .

While the turbo is not installed pat, you should take the chance to clean it up, make it look brand new! Maybe even polish the compressor housing .
