haha yeah first hill we got to with a red light we would be both stuck there trying to brass button our ways off the mark lol!
Why would you rebuild your motor? Your calais goes the hardest out of any cooler/exhaust vl i've ever been in, it feels so smooth as well, Justin gets jealous when i say this but i always have, it's even smoother than his engine ![]()

Done the Canada route over xmas and new years. Done Banff, Sunshine Village, Mt Norquay, Lake Louise, Whistler/Blackcomb. Unreal. Picture perfect snow everywhere - powder for the win!!
Did get extremely cold some days/nights... I was staying in Canmore which is a small town nestled in the rockies. Saw the temp drop to -30C.... that is cold. Jaegermeister shots go down so easy after a 5km drunken walk back from the pub at 2am when it is -24C ![]() Destroyed my shoulder attempting a full speed run down the World Cup Men's Downhill run at Lake Louise. Ouch. Rotator cuff injuries are not good. I'll be back this year to do it all again! Heres me at LL - check out the runs in the background. Note the drop off on the run behind me. ![]() View from the top of the gondola at LL - you can sit there for ages and just stare in awe at the scenery. It is amazing. ![]() |

A skier/boarder who has only done the Aussie slopes needs to get over there and experience it. It helps cost wise when you have a mate who lives in the rockies... and his cousin who works on the mountain and hooks you up with VIP passes

40cm dump on my bday 2 years ago, hopefully the same this year!
![]() NZEVLHSV- isnt there a massive gondola going in at treble cone? Its almost cheaper to fly to NZ and ski there than go to vic/nsw here... If only you could stay in the snow in NZ |

I've been skiing down at Perisher since I was two in 88'.. I was one of those milo kids with no stocks, and staking it constantly..hah
I skied for about 10 years, then boarded for 1, skied for 5, boarded for 1, then I bought myself some snow blades, there like short trick skiis, 99cm long. Pretty good fun and really easy to manover. Taught my gf last season, that was fun! ha.. But i'd like to go over to canada, like you blokes said, its awesome! Gotta love the snow.. Here's some happy snaps... I'm 21 this year. I hadn't ever made a snowman, so I thought it was about time, so I made it with my missus.. The lodge ![]() snow man! ![]() And the Musso! ![]()

Suspicious fire on Ruapehu skifield
Fire safety officers were on Mt Ruapehu in the middle of the North Island soon after first light today after a suspicious fire ripped through buildings on the ski slope. Firefighters could not get to the burning buildings because of difficult road access and had to watch as they burnt. Police said the fires were being treated as suspicious and guarded the mountain overnight until first light when more police and fire safety officers arrived. The blaze was at Knoll Ridge, Whakapapa, 56km south-west of Turangi. The alarm was raised soon after midnight when the buildings were burning fiercely. The Knoll Ridge Cafe and an equipment shed, which housed a snow groomer, were badly damaged. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/ar...ectid=10556733 |
