We have the full compliment of the English language for reason, to see the vernacular stoop to such a low level as witnessed within the internet only reaffirms my disdain for society.

Just a warning for all those engineers out there, when you get to 3rd year the work load will undoubtedly be more than you have experienced before but just wait for 4th year.
Writing an original thesis is no small feat and when coupled with coursework/exams it proves quite hard to reel-off HDs.
Although Im coming from an Aerospace Engineering perspective and it always seems like they push us a bit harder.

Last exam already, I wish I was in the same boat as you! I'm at La Trobe and almost everyone I know has finished already

Mine start today and finish on the 30th with what is most likely going to be the worst exam ever imaginable, lol.

Yeah man, it was pretty bad! LOL; I was thinking to walk home and just drive there.

Oh; that's alright! Almost done...

Speaking of finance; I have to do Macroeconomics next semester. Is that hard?

Well I did some macro in my undergrad and I found it to be MUCH better than micro which is absolutely dreadful, quite possibly the worst subject I've ever done!

I find macro quite easy to understand (most of my mates did too and preferred it over micro) and I wouldn't think you'll have too much trouble with it. I did very little work for it and still did really well, so yeah, you should be fine.

HAHAHA, not a more true word has been spoken (even though I'm at La Trobe....it's all the same...ahhhh i hated that subject)!

Micro is about the allocation of resources and pricing of goods and services within an economy (supply and demand). It tends to look at individual companies as examples and problems based on resources and pricing within those companies (effects of competitors, taxes etc..).

Macro looks to the economy as a whole and focuses on things such as GNP/GDP and how things such as unemployment, inflation, consumer behaviour, price trends impact on it. It looks at the net exports/imports side of the economy also.

All you need to know is that macro is better and much easier. lol

Macro refers to the entire workings of a nations economy. Land, labour, capital etc all broadly.

Micro refers to a firm, individual or a household in the economy, consumer spending habits, behavioural habits etc, individual aspect.

I studied them separately then one year later they decided to merge them together but too many people failed it so they separated them. There was a bit of a difference between them, although the weighting of the assignments and exam were the same for the two subjects.

Pay attention to your lecturer rather then a VLT; exams are only around the corner!

I actually did some wind tunnel work this semester, that model was contracted by Holden in the very early 90's for a drag study with the VN.
Its still under contract so the results can't be released but I will say this; the VN did a lot better than the VL.

Idk man, lol... Exams started on the 25th of Oct and I've already had three and my final exam is on the 11th; so I kind of have a mini break now and will study for the last exam next week.

Good luck with your exams.

Finish my last exam today!

Also, I paid $8 for the all day ticket. Took me an hour and ten minutes due to traffic and only 30 minutes on the way home.
