Cheers for the info. I recently wired one up in an old Merc and it cooked a couple of coils after the engine bay was resprayed and the module wasn't making contact with the body anymore

Pretty sure I remember holding one in my hand and wired up to test and it worked fine not earthed on the body?

are all v8 k frames from vn to vs the same?

i wanna use my vy ss brakes, will i need the brake hub adaptors or wil they bolt straight up to a later model k frame setup?

I have completed the conversion with an auto and motor from a vr v8. one thing i cant find is where/how to provide power to the auto. Does this come directly from the computer or does it have to be added in. If so where and how?

has anyone reconnected cruise control after the conversion? i have power to cabin switch but the cruise wont work. id say i must have the vaccum lines messed up somewhere along the way. if anybody can shed some light on where they need to be connected to would be great

i have a complete vs doner car will kframe loom extractors rack suspension and brakes all fir vl,i assume suspension and brakes dont more so wanted to use pacemakers kframe radiator motor box loom etc etc

Hi guys, Im interested to know what you all did with power steering lines as im converting from 6 cyl to carby 308 (power steering pump is on the other side to an injected 5L) Did you run vn or vl power steering lines? thanks Kyle.

I ran a t5 from a vn.i just re drilled the holes in the cross member

Hey ive got a vl v6 which has had a complete conversion to 355 stroker and turbo700 transmission. I still have the original vl v6 shifter and am wondering if any1 can give me advice on what needs to be done with inhibitor swtich. The vl v6 has the switch on the shifter but the turbo700 has it on the transmission. What needs to be done to make it all work? have read thread but cant find an answer, any help would be greatly appreciated cheers, jess

Anybody done this conversion but with 4 into 1 pipes instead of factory or tri ys extractors? Considering 2 ways. 1 go manual steer n pay drug money. Or 2 put a complete vn 5L power steer setup in it. But don't really wanna run a pump n power steer lines.

Mine's 4 into 1 with standard VL power steer. it's a Genie full system 2.5 inch single cat. the Y pipe came with an adjustable slip joint so it was simply a matter of adjusting to suit. I'm running a 4L60E auto
