running good but i need to upgrade the fuel pump its maxing out. its making 165kw but yeah any further than that its running real lean. charged 600 cos i need to get fuel pump and take it back but he quoted me 700 for the board fitted and tuned. does anyone know if i need to upgrade the internal pump he said to replace it with a vs internal pump.

yeah ill be putting a bosch 910 in asap and getting it tuned again. i unfortunately got a 300 dollar fine tonight for no seat belt ill usually wear it everywhere i cant drive without it i feel strange but i was literally driving 200 meters down the road after i just posted a letter but of course he didn't wanna know about it i had my belt on by the time he pulled up behind me he didnt even have to use his lights because by the time he got to me i was pulled over. So made today a expensive way to finish off my 2 weeks holidays.oh well. Shaun at boostworx is a great bloke and very helpful im a bit pissed at hi tech after i suggested my detonating at high revs problem could be the fuel pump and they insured me it wasnt that.

yea shawns dyno reads the lowest in s.a.

iv got a brand new standard internal goss pump, into a under car 2l surge tank then into the o44 with standard lines should be good for 300rwkw plus
i should get a pic 2 show u my fuel setup was about 600 for the lot
i tested the goss standard internal replacement pump and in less than 5 secs it filled a 1.5l coke bottle so it works fine with my setup

be carefull with ebay i bought a second hand 044 for 50bucks and it didn't work
get a new 1 from outlaws for 230 i think it was and sum fitting to suit your standard lines
i looked around Adelaide outlaws were the cheapest for 044z

I mean the fake 044's from eBay are mock-ups, I'm not saying Yours is OR that they all are but, I have heard a few people that have bought a "bosch 044" new off ebay have recieved fake, mock-up versions..

well i just got back from getting my car tuned it made 172.9rwkw but injectors are maxed out he reckons so he suggested AFM and injector upgrade then see how it goes with a bit more boost but im saving for an O/S trip so i wanna stop spending money on it for a while and just enjoy it so i was thinking of just getting an adjustable fuel reg for now. i dont really want much more power than that for a while because i still have an N/A trans and im not sure how it will handle more power. im happy with how it is going now its really smooth and feels strong. Bad news he thinks the head gasket has a small leak because there was a bit of coolant burnt onto one of the plugs so i guess ill have to replace that soonish. OPINIONS??

Yup, when mine was stock it made 170-175kw on 12psi and that was on the peak of the injectors... I tried an adjustable reg but couldnt squeeze anymore outta it so maybe its time for som 32 GTR injectors

re-set the bands if you have the specs and a suitable torque wrench? otherwise, no there isn't really anything else.
