rb30 into vt?

hey guys im a big fan of the vt's and iv bin thinking about the idea for years but now that iv got alittle time on my hands im thinking about putting a rb30 into a vt shell. does anyone know weather its bin done before if so a thread would be sick

just wana know will it fit?
how hard is it to get mounts to fit thats about it

p.s its going into a drift/ drag car so reg and rwc dont matter

theres a RB26 in a VU ute getting around too... pretty sh1t conversion IMO. A turbo Gen 3 would be heaps more fun on the street.

What a waste of money the vt engines are way better only put RB30 if u thinking of a turbo

Yeah, I'd only do it if you were going to turbo it, is that the case?
An RB30 has sh*t all power in a VL, and a VT is much heavier.

ive seen a red vs ute witha honk rb30et in it, good conversion and goes pretty good too.


just strap a turbo onto the ecotec?

Ha ha thats not a bad Idea... I was thinking about putting a RB30 head on a LS1 bottom end cos they're even stronger then the v6 vt option...
